CTIA Wireless 2009 welcomes the slim HTC Snap smarthpone

Now, I'm looking for a simple qwerty phone with texting, so the Blitz and the dash are ideal for my needs. But the Snap looks like what I might really want.
Seems like a cool device, unfortunately it's running Windows Mobile. Windows is the worst mobile phone OS ever made, it's pathetic and completely unsupported by Microsoft and the carriers who provide it. The only hope this phones will realize its full potential lies in the hands of hackers who build functional versions of the OS and publish them for free on the internet.
share your views at http://www.HTC-Snap.org take care.

You want a great looking QWERTY smartphone? Give up your hope on WinMo, just go for the BlackBerry Bold 9000 or Curve 8900. Those are the real great looking ones. Not the HTC Snap.

Finally a good looking QWERTY phone. Specs impressive. If there is Blackberry Connect support, its a sure winner against the expensive new Blackberry models.

The E71 wishes what? That it could be a slow buggy Win Mobile supported phone? You have obviously never used this phone or even began to look at it's features. From a technical stand point it is the best phone I have ever come across. Use the phone, the learning curve for all of it's features will be high as it's not win mobile. Actually use the phone for what it is (not just a phone) an actual fully functional piece of technology that helps you throughout your day and not just a piece of eye candy, then write a review. There is also probably no other phone out there that can match it's battery life, absolutely phenomenal.

Yep, i'd love this one same as BB Bold, the 2mpx would make it's price so much cheaper that be affordable for everyone who love full keyboard cell like Blackberry. Bold or S721 hard to decide ^^

> In reply to bluestainedpuma @ 2009-04-01 21:28 from jrY$ - click to readNice phone.. indeed.. although at this point i think a regular look on WinMo vs a mask up like the HTC Touchflo, is something the manufacturers can consider.. something similar to the touchFlo interface on WinMo driven by the trackball would really attract buyers..
ohh by the way, about Inner Circle! its a new Email manager from HTC, it gives you the option to select the most mportant people in ur contact list and display emails new recieved from them over others.. small thing but convenient!!

Is this the HTC Maple rumored a few weeks back? If it is, I think Maple sounded better than "Snap"...
