how could a company that make a browser that yield ~500MB++ just for 3-4 tabs of browsing and crippled cpu usage, make an OS for a mobile?
fix your desktop browser on memory usage first! then we'll have another talk on your brand new paltform...
droopy, 27 May 2014how will buy this OBSOLETE device with the worst mobile os in the world called firefox??? some... moreSo you want people to buy spyware instead of a somewhat secure Mozilla product? Sadly, they will.
nobody should ever buy a Samsung phone, cheap plastic body, last to be updated, and touchwiz garbage. get a nexus or an Xperia or a One
If it had a hardware keyboard on it, I'd jump in an instant.
I'm not sure how it'll stand out well enough against Android.
I thought they quoted their price as something like 60 bucks or below for entry level. That would have been a decent offering for the extreme low-end entry to the smartphone world.
But at $170 for a brand new OS when Android is already so widespread and the Moto E already exists at $120 off contract for pretty much the same specs on a far more developed OS, why would anyone even consider this, especially when the next offering in the range (Moto G) is a mere $10 bump upwards.
Really poor pricing if this information is all accurate.
