Anonymous, 30 May 2014In 2 years 10 inch will be normal for phones. You all who can't wait for this "thing"... moreyour logic is flawed.
first, Nexus7 is not a phone. it can"t make any phone call. it doesn't even have SIM card slot.
this Mega 7 is a phone. so, in case you didn't know what a phone is, it's a device that can make a phone call.
second, Nexus7 has non-removable battery, while Samsung phone usually have removable battery.
and i never want to buy any phone with non-removable battery.
AnonD-209094, 30 May 2014This is gonna be a big success all over SE Asia and China, theres zero chance of failure, actu... moreIf it wasn't obvious from my name, I live in India. I know the market around here in Asia.
In this part of the world Galaxy 6.3 seems to be condemned too big. Galaxy 5.8 was widely circulated and may be because of dual sim factor. In view of this situation, I settled for Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Though I considered Z-Ultra slightly wide for comfort. I think a Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.1 will be a perfect size for me. Full HD or QHD with aspect ratio of 16 to 9.6 and other high spec are my favorites.
Samsung please give us high resolution Galaxy Mega ranges.
If it will look like the one in the picture and will have Amoled HD screen resolution them I'm in, was thinking to get the Huawei Mediapad X1, but this one could be a good alternative.
AnonD-167121, 30 May 2014LG G2 is still good for onehanded operation. It's mostly because of its tiny bezels.Yeah, I've already tested it. I liked Note 3's size/screen ratio, so G3 will be a good device if it's anything like Note 3 is; fits in every normal pocket and can be operated with only one hand.
Anonymous, 30 May 2014Fake! Still using menu keysJust cos it has the old style menu button, doesn't mean its fake
My Mega 6.3 is great, but 7" is really too big for confort. Except if you want a tablet.
In 2 years 10 inch will be normal for phones. You all who can't wait for this "thing" to be released, why you just don't buy nexus 7. Probably because it's called tablet and it's to big for you to use it, and this is "phone" and it's not too big. Logic of ...pid people.
its time for upgrade my 7plus...:)
How will this not compete with the Notes? I can live with missing features and less than the best of almost every component - except the camera which must be the best.
I own a Mega 6.3, And i must say, its a great device. Cant wait for the 7inch.
i felt in love with it hope they release it soon so i can sell my s4 black edition and but this
I believe that Samsung is hitting at a lucrative market here as there is a growing trend amongst people who travel often on short trips and would happily settle for a size of this type, all in all with the capacity to stay in touch be it by phone or other. Making it light and thin means that Samsung have now paved the way with the previous Mega 6 plus incher. Giving a storage space of at least 16Gb plus 2 GB rams, a decent cam, flash, good speakers will assure a good following.
not a problem for my hands. need a bigger phone. all these little 5 inch screens, pah !
note 3 just does it for now
This might be even just as big as the Xperia Z ultra if this has small enough bezels. Only God knows why sony made those bezels so big on the ultra.
Add a Gorilla Glass It will be a super smartphone of all time !!!
Anonymous, 30 May 2014Huawei's Mediapad X1 is nolonger alone.Exactly.
Only 7" :/ i wish second generation mega will have 7.3 or 7.7". 7" is a little small for me
super amoled screen will be its strong selling point and differentiating feature from other similar huge competition from china products.
