Android changing to silver from nexus,W8 progressing,,bb shares up 6% and IOS progressing so things are looking up all round..Broadwell have gone smaller and so will smartphone CPU's ,we want xenon flash better batteries ,waterproofing commonplace, all sorts of things can happen still.

What apple crammed into the WWDC 2014 was phenomenal they did not have time for everything.i have watched it twice now to understand all what they have done and most of them go deeper into things like replying via voice and instant Ebay bids etc.

Next its the hardware and wonder if Apple will sacrifice 3.5mm jack and use Litening connector to save even more space,,these jacks take up a large volume compared to the smartphone itself. Plus it gives Apple a chance to sell us ANOTHER adaptor..

Apple may take a big hit by Google's fantastic project called "Android Silver". Wherein, the project aims at the consistent upgrades and security. Apple's survival in the market depends on the needs of the global consumer and by expanding their base by allowing licence to third party to manufacture devices loaded with ios.

Apple's minus are restricted internal storage, non removable battery and i tunes dependency and insane accessory prices. The older devices may become obsolete due to lack of compatibility of upgraded ios forcing the consumer to upgrade to new device itself which is their marketing strategy. My personal opinion is they are focusing only on US Market and not global, Just the opp of Google's strategy.

Apple is now scared of Android rival and now they are trying copy the features of Android OS which they recently introduced. Now, they understood the importance of liberty of the app developers and trying to woo them. The future may be Apple Vs Google.

lol they are giving away fingerprint of users to 3rd party developers, but besides that seems nice update but still ios needs real multitasking when it gets it it should come closer to competition in terms of productivity

It has been supported for 4 years now! Come on, just look at the Galaxy SIII, which is just 2 years old and it have been forgotten by Samsung.
