> In reply to Yvil @ 2009-04-15 05:31 from vmy9 - click to readI've also got a Viewty1 but dont find that the flash is poor! I think the flash is actually pretty good in comparison to phones that were released around the same time as Viewty1 -- cant wait for this to be released, any hint of a release date?

I've had a Viewty for 1 year now. I'm not a fan of any brand I like phones for their own merit. If the specs of Viewty 2 are true then LG have improved the 4 main drawbacks of Viewty 1
1) A hopefully capable xenon flash (the led on Viewty 1 is useles like all LED's)
2) WiFi (missing on Viewty 1)
3) 32 GB of internal memory wow
4) A very capable (according to GSM Arena)UI
If these 4 points are actually implemented it will be a very very good mobile, and yes I agree it looks really good.

Sony Ericsson W995 is not a competitor for these phones. It hasn't touchscreen and SE phones still record QWGA@30 fps, it's too little ourdays I think.

GSMarena are going insane over the LG Arena, the site background changes into titles of the LG Arena and they did a whole "Review of a Beta Unit" thats a first cause they usually just check out the highlights and leave the review for a release unit"
But even though the article is called "LG Arena Preview" they said " take a look at our LG Arena review"
Kelly: yea it looks weird but hopefully it'll be removed in the final version

I think writing 'wide touch display' on the screen is a bit cheesy. There's no point advertising it when it's right in front of you, and more to the point, when you've already bought it.

Once this arrives the Renoir will become a very attractive option as its price is adjusted. The Viewty 2 is very likely to be regarded as one of the best feature devices of this year if all its hardware and software are properly implemented. Brilliant engineering.

Design seems to a more stylized version of the blockier Viewty "1". If it does get launched with the current specifications, the sleek design is going to be an added bonus. Any info. on pricing? This might be my first LG phone ever.

A 3" screen is still big, but bigger WVGA screens seem better. As you can see, the phone's size is suitable for a bigger screen.

Drool... I was considering the C905 for its high mega pixels but was not convinced of its design. If this phone looks as good as the pic, this is definitely my next purchase. Drool slurp slurp.

WoW- It looks great-. How thin is this phone? Current 8 mega pixel phones look too bulky and I am waiting for the slim high quality camera phone.

LG must be pretty confident in this device for them to apply the Viewty. 8 megapixel + S-Class user interface + WVGA + 3 inch capacitive touchscreen... those are some convincing features I must say. Can't wait for the actual official spec release.
