The wonderful thing about Android is that you have multiple companies working on it. You also have a fairly large community of modders working on it. If you do not like what Samsung is doing you can go to a number of other companies. Unlike Apple where you're stuck with what they allow you to use and do. LOL

If Samsung wants to go to Tizen that is there choice but Tizen will have to perform quite well and actually give people a decent alternative. If it does not then Samsung risks losing customers to other Android companies.

AMD Mantle?
They copyed Mantle all the way there.
The problem is game/app must be reworked from the ground up and its not compatible whit OpenGL.

We all know Mantle is great but problem are still devs.
Mantle is OpenSource and Metal isnt.
Just another problem for Apple.
