Shp, 13 Apr 2009this phone sux...Just like you, eh. DOLT!!!!!
I think it is highly unlikely that this device will omit HSDPA 3.5G internet speeds. It will have to be significantly cheaper than the fabulous 5800. Otherwise it is unlikely to sell as people will naturally pay a little more and opt for the 5800 and its feature set. (As has happened with the E63, E71 choice).
if day make it with a capacitive touchscreen it will be one of the best phone of the market
Nokia must be smart in setting right price decision.. For example, in my country Nokia 5800 is far far left behind, most people will choose Blackberry coz' Blackberry Bold only cost $570 (still Nokia set its 5800 price at $400). What a fool decision. Goodbye Nokia.
Pls don't say lie yaa..!
where is it..?
it's not launch now yet..!
Yeah, my 5800 XM protective screen film is oredi seeing some wear and tear less than a week into usage with marks from the stylus. Is this supposed to even happen?
NOW who told u its an affordable fone???
the news doesnt talk at all about the PRICE!!!
nokia never releases cheap fones!!such a disgracing company
How much does it cost in Philippine peso?so I will decide either of the two should I buy.5800 or 5530.what is the common difference between both of them?pls.answer all my questions.urgent pls.urgent pls.tnx.:)
Agree.. wifi is a must GPS only makes price higher
i hate nokia...i love nokia...i hate their phones...i love their phones...theyre the worst...theyre the best...
just stick with the phone you need. upgrade once every 2 years or so.
This clearly shows the position of Nokia these days. They can not match the high end products offered from other manufacturers like the iPhone, Omnia, Pixon etc. so they concentrate on the cheap plastic Chinese made rubbish where they have dominance.
Nokia`s are cheap phones for cheap people.
Nokia is a far cry compared what it was couple of years ago when it was the leader of the mobile innovation.
its going to be a super hit here in the Philippines as well as the rest of the growing countries all over the world. c", a typical move for the mobile word leader. congrats!!
It's great, it's Nokia.
Zubair, 13 Apr 2009this was a great job done by nokia as nokia is also looking forward for people who like touch ... moreThen you can probably expect another 5xxx without the various sensors, less internal memory, worse cam....for $X less and there comes another NEW model by the company.
Beside those who work in the company, can anyone really keep track of ALL the phones being released by this company in the past year?
Abhishek, 13 Apr 2009I hope this should click, Nokia is already providng chepaest handsets in touch screen except L... moreCheapest touchscreen phone except LG? How about Moto A810? Being sold for around US$177 without contract and unlocked...(one shop in my area even sells it for US$125)
That's what I call cheap...
this looks like nokia started copying fake chinese noklas lol. just add one more sim card and it's good to go, for $49.99
This is quite a dissapointment, since Nokia is one of the best for mobiles. I think that they should have reinvented the whole design, so it doesn't look like the 5800 (which the camera sucks). Also Nokia should have considered improving the UI, if they want to beat LG and Samsung. I just
Hope that this would come differently than rumoured.
Dani, 13 Apr 2009The difference is this
iPhone now has a Application for watching TV!
Nokia just an... more"iPhone now has a Application for watching TV!"
Im sure wathing realtime-TV anywhere & everywhere through the iPhone will be crystal-clear experience with no time-lags, interferance or heavy battery talktime-cannibalizing. Good luck with the upgraded life-quality thanks too this TV-app. ;-) On the other hand; if you will be dependent on the hotel-TV cable-connection for best quality, why not just use the hotel-TV itself?
For those who are worried about scratces on the large display. Check out siliconrubber-protection from www.screenguard.se/silikonskydd-c-95.html. In addition; check out if its possible to leave the factory-screenprotection on without loss of function. Its available for 5800, but Im sure a 5530-version vill come as well. Im currently using it for my 5220 Xpress and it works very well.
