Nokia sees that samsung is flooding the market with a bunch of highend phones and still they bring out this midrange phone. To do what? I wonder if Nokia is reading our comments. If they were reading, they would not do this. I understand that you have to tackle the mid range level some times but they already did that with the 5800. I bet this wont be as successful as the 5800 because its just a downgraded version.

this was a great job done by nokia as nokia is also looking forward for people who like touch screen phones a lot but cant afford them which is a good news but the bad news is tht people like me have problems while typig on that built in virtual keyboard due to some type of odd shapes of fingers of humans tht we have in this world :P!!!!!!

Will never buy this phone if no GPS, My N82 have Garmin XT install on it, and it's so useful and much better than Nokia maps!

I hope this should click, Nokia is already providng chepaest handsets in touch screen except LG. Also if you consider the semi-urban cities and population, where people wont be able to afford the 3G services(Hopefully it will be launched in "A" circles atleast in next one year), this phone will enjoy the good market share.

Congratulations nokia. We love this. Thanks caring for the common people, as many of us cannot afford costly mobiles. You wil be the leader in market if you care for common people by releasing affordable mobiles. Thank you nokia.

this is true, our retail rep for nokia showed the staff in our store pictures of this model this week. there is also another higher spec touch screen 5*** series to come this year, 5mpx cam, larger screen, etc, it looked like it was a bit more metallic, silver and red, a lot more angular in design too. Exciting times!

WEll done Nokia as the 5800 was a bit to expensive with the low class camera on it ,an at last no gprs as this puts extra cost on mobiles an loads do not use it,

The nokia 5800xm, is very beautiful phone and the specs make it awesome phone for it's price, so if the nokia 5530xm comes out, lower price and it's super for the guys who don't need GPS on their phone it's because they made have in their car probably, but it's sign to let opinion know that the future of mobile system is symbian, it's easy and comfortable to operate!
