Yeah right, only sold in Korea.
After fans have bought the other models they start to launch in certain unique colours and/or in certain variants like better chipset etc in the world outside Korea!
Just like the S4. After the Snapdragon 600 version they launched the LTE-A in Korea and then they had the S4 (GT-9506) model with Snapdragon 800. Then they even have a version with a back cover with faux leather.
Though I had been a big fan of Samsung having had the S2 (1 unit) to the S3 (i9300 & i9305) to the S4 (i9505) to the present Note 3, I ain't gonna be tricked by the many variants next.
Looks like I may have to switch to the LG G3 next. I'm so peeved by the similar scenario with S5. First the Active vwrsion and next the Prime and then what next? How many versions you wanna launch?
Try google this:
Korea's UDN reported that Samsung's supply chain sources were stating that Samsung's goal was to ship 21 million Galaxy S5 units this quarter and that they'll likely ship closer to 15 million which is a 25% target miss. That would be a huge miss. Now Korean security firms have gone negative on Samsung. A new Korean report published this morning states that "Samsung Electronics' profitability is expected to deteriorate in the second quarter of this year, unlike the previous prediction."
This is rather disappointing. Samsung had reached its top, but now slowly is running down the slope. They're making too many bad decisions lately.

I've noticed that this phone is everywhere in shops in Dubai, but no one really buying, and this is where money is not really the issue.
I remember when SGS3 came out, people were excited, SGS4 not so much, but people were somewhat satisfied. Somehow, SGS5 has totally failed to make any sort of impact here, and people seem bored.
You guys experience the same elsewhere?
The international version will be an upgrade from this version for sure. For me my note 3 is the best and will only upgrade to note 4. Once you try the king you would never goback to pawns !
I'm guessing those who really want it can import it.

This is something which is not right. I don't know a reason why Samsung keep selling different models in different countries. Why not they made a single with best hardware and sell globally. If they have issues like profit in samsung own Exynos based CPUs and Snapdragon CPU. They can sell both the variants in markets like India where 4g is available in limited part of the country. But will be available in whole country soon.
So the poorly made G3 with slow graphic and poor battery will be the best Korean phone for now.
..........well *beep*.
