Apple's OSX is superb to use, literally lag free, but people using and will use windows, though the latter OS is not as smooth as osX.
Starting from pocket PCs to win-mo, Microsoft's mobile platform was never successful. It's highest market share 42.3% lasted only for 6 months. Even Microsoft doesn't support their platform, and you guys are dreaming about future. LOL
OEMs puts unnecessary bloat, that's why some Android phones lags.

But the core cannot be changed. No matter how hard to try to stop lag, it cannot be changed. Neither can you change the hungry spec loving android.. because the core is rotten.
Proven with JellyBean lag free gimmick.. i bet the coming of ArT will not solve Android hunger for specs.
The future belongs to WP / iOS.
Of course it will increase because there are lot of apps which are already on ios and android and now coming to WP but new apps mostly come on android and ios first

All the apps in the world can't change the fact that Windows Phone and it's useless tiles is the worst mobile platform around. Horrible OS
Aycaramba, 23 Jun 2014But, but, WP has no quality apps, no quality games. :(Oh really, wp has better quality app and game thn ur crapdoid.
ANdroidmaniac, 23 Jun 2014Still doesn't have google chrome in it That's good for wp, who need scroogle's chrom
Yes there need not be any 10 Million apps in any Store.
There need to be essential apps for sure and windows has all the essential apps. Problem is the apps available in google store and apple store for free, are paid apps in windows store.
Anonymous, 23 Jun 2014No flash support :PTroll, is lagdroid or ios has it?
cyborg.bit, 24 Jun 2014Whatever. There's so many duplicate apps. Search "facebook" in WP store, I bet you'l... moreThose are not duplicate, they are 3rd party apps for fb. 3rd party apps are available in android store also.
Still no decent emulator like dosbox drastic-ds epsxe ppsspp qemu.
Still no call blocker with whitelist.
Well, the days of 'no apps' are well and truly over.
Anonymous, 23 Jun 2014You wish. I have owned a Windows Phone for almost 2 years and can't wait to leave the platform... moreLeaving aside the "no quality apps" part... there are no apps! From what i've seen on the market, there are a lot of scammers; if you report the app to MS, nobody cares!
Never coming back to MS again! It's a Symbian of 2014, nothing more!
Yeah right, even right now I still have trouble installing Windows 8.1 x64 and Visual Studio 2013 on my PC. Lot of incompatible apps & driver for Win8. And VS2013 installer is less customizable than before, something goes wrong then it exit with little explanation.
I want to make apps for WP but Microsoft didn't make it easier for us developer.
Compared with Android, I can simply download JDK + ADT bundle and immediately develop android apps on my Win7 laptop and deploy it on my nexus phone. Simple & straightforward.
Kopi-O-Siew-Dai, 24 Jun 2014Likewise for iOS and Google Play. How do you think Android has so much apps on the store??As much as I know, google and apple cuts duplicate/apps that shouldn't be in the store, once or twice a year. But I've never heard anything like that from Microsoft. Sadly.
