Compared to the Moto E, the nearest Android matchin the same bang per buck, the battery is about 10% less - Nokia's 1800 vs Moto's 1980.

The Moto's battery proved to be quite good for the class.

Nokia should do very well, given the lower screen res.

By the way, the lower res may not be so much of a disadvantage. Given the small battery and weak processor, a lower res means lower battery consumption and lower processor demand.

So, X2's juice might last about the same or even more than E's, and might be less sluggish too.

In any case, both screens have low res, which given the price bracket is understandable.

some people are complaining about "small" 1800 mAh battery. battery life has become a serious concern for smartphones these days. i hope nokia will do it better.you can compare the battery endurance from the respective reviews(gsmarena) of moto g,grand 2, nokia xl. see how xl is better

Nokia has hit the nail right on the head with the X2. this phone took me by surprise.when i saw the specs of this one under the rumor mill, i thought that it was unlikely to have these kind of specs and all.the I gen of Nokia X devices had under powered hardware coz it was meant to test the response from customers, i guess. it seems they have addressed virtually all the shortcomings of the last generation. i has been longing to get a Lumia, but the X2 looks awesome!
Now, Nokia has mentioned in a reply to a youtube comment that it the last gen will get sw updates as well. hope it brings proper multitasking to those.
