Also, while marketshare of Android is impressive, not all Android makers will stay in business.

That is why people also look at the profit share of the industry.

Have a look, see how Apple and Samsung look in those statistics, compared to the rest of the industry.

Don't think so, it could be the price for 5S then.
Well, even though this is true, it's still expensive phone.

I do like all O/S though and do have Android and like Android its when uninformed spec heads reckon 8 cores at 4.0 GHz are better than Dual core 1.3GHz when it won't changed things in REALITY if its badly coded..High spec will never equate to good computing if the underlying code is badly written ,,you can chuck all grunt you want at a badly written O/S it will not in REAL LIFE be better than a superbly crafted O/S with well written coding.

Thats why i rant, not because any smart/dumphone is any better than the next its personnel choice its ill informed folk or folk whom state wrong information that gets me.

Now you lot have got me wanting an Android phone again and round and round i go with the O/S.

> In reply to Missue @ 2014-06-25 18:41 from qb1S - click to readYes i will answer you,,your deluded by specs..If you actually got off your behind and understood whats going instead of childishly saying QHD screen is necessity and 3 GB RAM how the hell do you know..The LG 3 is a terrible screen with bad contrast its dark (use on full brightness sucks up battery) and no-one notices the difference between QHD and 1080p.Source here scroll to 9mins 30sec for deep screen analysis,,

this lass is brilliant in her reviews going down to pixel level and contrast to obsessive level of detail.

Only silly Android needs GB of RAM its so knackered and flawed like an O/S built on inefficient algorithms..W8 and IOS are slick easy to operate lightweight decent written state of the art O/S thats cool engineering and slick coding not top heavy Android thats UNCOOL.

Folk should by the phone that suites them and for many thats a simple talk and text mobile..Anyone can buy any phone they wish its their money but when uninformed idiots keep bashing and re so uneducated and spec obsessed it gets my goat.

Some of you must enjoy going round in 1.3 litre engines that burn the most fuel just for a laugh instead of choosing a superb well engineered 1.3 litre engine doing many miles to gallon..Android is the fuel guzzler IOS/W8 are the well engineered superb ultra lean fuel efficient engine..I would have the superbly engineered low petrol consumption engine 100% of the time.

And you're an idiot if you believe that any publicly listed company (yes, that includes Samsung & Sony) is NOT working to please their shareholders above everyone else. Come on.

> In reply to Duel @ 2014-06-25 22:22 from mhP{ - click to readYes, for gaming the iPhone is probably always going to perform better - it has the advantage of a tight hardware/software infrastructure.

With 'Metal' in the works, I think it'll just further their lead in gaming performance.

But.. I'm not one of those people to buy mobiles for gaming though.

That's one pretty phone. I think Apple is pushing 32GB standard for developed nations and 16GB for budget version in developing countries.

Hmmmm most Asian markets like China, India and the rest of southeast Asia preferred free apps and the ability to transfer (both legal and illegal acquired) content from one device to another with ease which iOS doesn't allow... these iPhones will sell but not for the mass market, even the tech savvy and above average earners will just ignore these devices due to it's restrictions...
