And Samsung delivers brillantly in all 4 of them with its top notch audio, AMOLEDS and vast choice of aftermarket extended battery vendors. If HTC or any other company wants to compete, they need to at least equal them in these fields. Otherwise they'll suffer and I'll stick with Samsung, Apple not really being a viable alternative for me because of the first 2 criterias.

> In reply to Mr Pop-s @ 2014-07-04 09:05 from NhhW - click to readIt is because Apple and Samuel Sung are / were the only phone makers making money

And now HTC have broken the "loss" cycle posting a profit

Whilst I can't comment on the ultra pixel HTC have not made the cut due to
NON user changeable battery
They were also NO microSD expansion

But from reading GSMarena News article the LG G3 outsold in the opening days the Samsung galaxy S5
in Korea where both are based
The LG G3 sold THREE time as many!

The LG G3 is essentially the LG G2S
all that LG chave changed is added MicroSD Expansion and REMOVABLE battery apprta from that and QHD display the LG G2 and lG G3 have the same specs but at 13MP less than the S5

Removable battery allows a spare to be carried

It matters if you have bought say a HTC phone and then run out of juice

Gsmarena have always scored "Non user-replaceable battery" as a disadvantage

IMO you compete with Samuel Sung if your counter offer has the 2 staple item removable battery/ microSD

Love HTC.. Everything at HTC is excellent except the Marketing team/tactics & Service after sale. The result of terrible marketing & pricing is known to all. The result of terrible Service after sale has led to Samsung taking over the market coz people have more faith in Samsung coz its Service after sale service is just excellent. If HTC ca improve on these two, HTC can rule..
And also, get rid of 4MP Ultrapixel OR increase the Ultrapixel count to 6.7 or 8.. Plz..

Great News! for it would have been really sad if hTC had died.
Always loved their phones, but can't afford one now - too expensive ;-)
