I doubt the designer got problem or they already even no money to hired a designer.

WAW, I guess moto have gone back in time on their designer... or maybe is part of their strategy to show the ugly leak photo, like those car manufacturer also cover their car design before launch...

I think the colour is a huge mistake, and not just because it wasn't designed for me, but because I can't imagine any market favourable enough to justify this monstrosity.

There are simply not enough people so desperate for this ugly style that the benefits of satisfying them would outway the gains of using a shape or colour that would appeal to a wider audience.

That's why Motorola isn't competitive anymore- not enough freaks to please.

Well well what do you know! maybe this just to get an attention...since i got the L9 i love the motorola.But sad to say they didn't upgrade the model..maybe this model gives a promising.

Design is a very subjective thing, Nokia for example has produced a number of oddities worse than this, and I respect any manufacturer that does it, what would the world look like if all the gadgets looked the same.
So call it an ugly phone, it probably is, but that just means it wasn't meant for you in the first place.
