2500 in 5.5" phone is not relay attractive and it might act not much better than 1500 in the 5S,
it is a big step for Apple to start giving more options to there customers, and I think they will be surprised with the amount of people whom will like bigger screens,
Several fabs such as Samsung, Global Foundry, Intel, etc. are working on 14nm so if the SoC in the iPhone 6 is 14nm then it can probably get away with a smaller battery.
keeks, 07 Jul 2014No one forces you to buy iPhone or any Apple product. Common sense is not so common nowadays tssevery one can say its opinion, its non of your business that everybody likes what(apple or htc),okey?

Size and OS complexity have nothing to do with it.
Go get a clean Android phone.. with Just one App installed. vs a fully loading iPhone. Android still lose in terms of quality and smoothness.
AmateurHistorian, 08 Jul 2014iPhone also have a chipset that's supposedly only a quarter as powerful as SD 800/801 but is a... moreA quarter processing power of S801 yet faster because the OS is just a simple OS unlike Android could do more multitasking than theirs.
Is like a dual barrel carburettor car being as fast as a direct fuel injection car but the fuel injection engine is more frugal on gasoline. Simple logic.
Jarret, 08 Jul 2014iPhone6 gets low capacity on battery... Sucks! The new iphones can continue the legacy of being plugged into some power supply unit.

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2014Samsung ad shows only one thing: All iPhone users love their phones.. and use it all the ti... moreI have to disagree. You seems to be comparing Android 2.2 with iOS 7. Coming from Nexus 5 to iphone 5s, I am struggling with the poor app quality e.g. Taptu, WhatsApp,Evernote (greenish) etc.
[deleted post]Samsung ad shows only one thing:
All iPhone users love their phones.. and use it all the time.
Samsung users are busy making their phones black and white and swapping battery rather then using it.
It can only happen, because the apps in iOS is so well made that you will spend hours on end. Android have no quality apps.. everything is junk.
Only Apple can do it.
By 2015, iPhone 6S will have 800mah battery and can play back videos for 22Hours with the new A7 chip!
Only Apple can do it.
...like in the Samsung ad:
iPhone users = Wall Huggers
...to put it mildly
DerAstar, 07 Jul 2014u mean 4.7? its said 1800-1900Nope i mean 4 inch model. 4.0 inch iphone
It depends on the OS usage. Android tends to be more battery consuming
AmateurHistorian, 08 Jul 2014iPhone keeps up with all Android flagships in term of battery life except the phablets. iPhone... moreI have used iPhone and I have LG G3 now. iPhone battery sucks, it is awful. Standby time is irrelevant, because phone is meant to be used. When I've got my hand on LG 3000 mah battery it i like I've discovered America. I'm a tv producer and if i have 100 % in 8am, with extremly heavy use, I still have 40 % at 22pm and still 20 % next morning. For someone who is moderate user, 2 days is no problem
p51d007, 07 Jul 2014I've never owned an Apple device.
How well does the battery, under normal usage, last on the... moreiPhone keeps up with all Android flagships in term of battery life except the phablets. iPhone have longer standby time because Android background process is not as efficient iOS. Check your Android phone for battery usage for Android System, Cell standby and Android OS.
iOS, Android and Window Mobile are all very different and comparing specs rarely tells the story. Kinda like how Nokia 1520 have 30% more battery life than Note 3 when the battery size is so similar and 1520 have bigger screen. (http://www.gsmarena.com/samsun...-1027p3.php)
Pretty bad capacity, if this is true. I have used iPhone 4s for last 2 years and weak battery was always a problem. It can't last whole day of heavy use. So this is a bigger device a lot (4,7) and not even a 2000 Mah battery. So, Apple solved screen size issue, but battery issue stays
When Intel go from Ivy Bridge to Haswell, not only is the new chip faster, it is also 40% more power efficient. 13" MacPro battery went from 7 hours to 11 hours while gaining performance. Apple control the chipset, GPU and software and could easily get a 50% increase in battery life with the same size battery and the new battery is even bigger.
