Have E51, certainly this gonna be my next Nokia. Doesn't matter the design, not in beauty contest, its a Nokia... and it's quite fine for me. Fits all features and after all very discreet smartphone.

On the face of it this looks the perfect phone (for me). However, having done much research on the E52 I am going to wait until all the bugs are fixed in a firmware update - and the keypad is more visible with white on black digits. I would recommend other do the same.

I'll buy the black one. why nokia chose metal grey and golden color?. I thought business phones should be in black.

does it really have VIDEO OUT from its 3.5mm jack?

it says it has "Nokia AV 3.5mm" on this site, http://www.forum.nokia.com/devices/E52

but other nokia sites only mentioned 3.5mm audio out (no video out mentioned). Its the sales package doesnt contain audio-video cable like those found in 5800xm sets.

please help. thanks.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-05-11 10:47 from nXE9 - click to readIf you are a E51 user, you'll get the point. You have the 4 shortcut buttons eq to 8 functions as they all are programable and the "delete" button for it self....
The ekstra button on E51 is simply a nice, functional feature Nokia shouldn't have made the E52 without.

A dedicated CONTACTS KEY will bring up your contacts no matter where you are in the phone or how deep you are in a menu.

So you are obviously missing the point why everybody is crying.

Resolution isn't everything.

The problem with Blackberry is the amount of colours reproduced on the screen.

Even though most of the later Blackberrys have a higher resolution, the fact that they still use 65k colours still WON'T make the displays much better.

Most of Nokia high-end phones comes with 16.5 millions of colours which makes it quite comfortable and legible to read text and look at photos in vivid colours.

A friend of mine viewed a photo on their Blackberry Pearl and then viewed the same photo on my E51. They were amazed at how much clearer and vibrant the photo look on my E51.

With this E52 on the horizon, no matter how BOLD Blackberry tries to be, it still CAN'T touch the E52 (smile).

> In reply to cs @ 2009-05-11 09:12 from iL71 - click to readI cannot speak of nokia, but what i know of is that you can get contacts by center clicking 5 way navigation key. when there is such a simple shortcut, why waste one more key? Nokia might have thought to include some other important functionality.

further more, please note that for all eseries devices, you can customize each key the way you want. there is a short press and long press action, you choose whichever app you want to customize it with.
