What is the ultimate objective of these devices? To provide a seamless multimedia experience for customers or simply be boxes through which dependancy by consumers is generated through excessive reliance on apps and their endless updates? With the number of apps available set to rise it is hoped that quality over quantity is the name of the game. Otherwise many consumers are sure to find equal appeal in the more affordable and equally technologically competent feature device segment of the market.

I'm glad there is so much more competition for Micro$oft these days.
Just think if we didn't have Apple. We'd be back about 5 years, and paying double the cost!
I hope Microsoft can get their act together, for an all-in-one device:

Xbox like games on the device as well..
I would much rather have all my devices in one.
I hate carringing an MP3 Player, My phone, My digital camera, my PSP or DS....
People worry about cost etc, But if you have it 'all in one' it will still cost you less than buying individually!
Comone Microsoft, Pull your Finger out! You have the financial Backing! And you've got a reputation for killing the competition.

i thought microsoft doesnt want to launch any zunephone (i saw in youtube. balmer laughs with iPhone). they say dont wanna compete with it.. hmm.. june? let me buy The Sims 3 instead of those things :D
