Nokia 6600i slides into action with a 5 megapixel snapper - read the full textAn updated version of the highly likable Nokia 6600 slide has officially been announced to the public. At first glance, it would hardly seem a big thing, as the Nokia 6600i shares its name with the original device, however...

This phone is the worst Nokia I used ever!! Apart from the disadvantage that the sceen goes black so quickly that you won't even finish reading a message. I have a very bad voice clarity, I feel that that there is somthing standing between the earphone and my ears!!! I don't know is this a problem with my phone or with all 6600i phones?? Could any one help

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-05-21 11:47 from fvZII agree with you though at 2.4" the screen of the 6260 is rather smallish, should have been at least 2.6" but it's still ok to me. You forgot to mention the PDF viewer for the 6260, the feature I was longing to see on an S40.

The 6600i is a basic upgrade, not a real succesor, since it changes so little from the 6600. Maybe VGA w. 30 fps and 2.4 inch display would've been nice.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-05-20 10:41 from mCSYThe why are you complaining that they copy eachother? That's the whole issue, read it! My argument was every sliderphone will look "like" copy cause there are not many ways you can make a slider phone shape differently in the physical aspect. Are you smarter than a average fifth grader? If not, then it explains why you had trouble understanding the root of the conversation.

Nice one from nokia, definately amazing that it's from the s40 stables. One problem though: slide phones are not that long lasting. They usually have repair issues. Nice one anyway. More power to s40!

im currently using a 6500 slide, but i really like this phone maybe i will upgrade to it when my contract ends. i was thinking of a n96 but people are complaining about it. the metallic case really does it for me coz im forever dropping my phone even my 6500s has proven its durability with its stainless steel case

@kaiser u maybe right about the metal thing and 5 mp camera but i am not sure if samsung had a symbian with it, so it is truly original. i like nokia and samsung both infact love them.

> In reply to hi @ 2009-05-20 03:50 from 0U@EDo ypu understand English? Physical dimensions and "slider" shell design parameters are NOT the same as material used, as in transparent keyboard or whatever. Close the LG slide out keyboard or change the colour of the keyboard and it will look like any other new slider. Jesus!
