This entire comment page is littered with nagging and complaints. Why doesn't everyone just get on the same page that no matter what phone you have. In 4 months from now it's going to suck. The way technology is moving at 100mph now days, we will never have the best phone. One thing I have to say about the Iphone is it has a company like apple behind it. If you look at everything Apple has done with computers, it blows your little pc out of the water. Did apple put out the most amazing computer right away? No, trial and error my friend. Just stop whining and watch the next generation of iphone blow apart everything you use, and the next generation after that. All apple had to do is test the waters with a cellular device. They have seen the capabilities. They will continue to always find they're step above every electronic company out there, just where they belong.

Just wondering at why someone would go on a contract to get an iPhone, then pay it out and then buy another phone!

Some people got more dollars than sense!

Only good thing it the touch screen but you still can't use a stylus with it. I had one for a month and couldn't wait till some poor sap bought it from me. I've moved to S60 nokia and the difference is unreal. No more dropped calls, I could share pics, ringtones and videos with my buds(Unless they have an iPhone) lol

In Australia the iPhone 3G has been declared "end of life" (EOL) by one of the carriers and their supplier.

Although Apple does have $30 billion in cash lying around, it's be pretty funny Nokia's coming out with glowing Apple logo's and all round the world you'd here the sound of fanboi heads exploding.

How dumb is this site? Almost all credible Mac/iPhone rumors sites state that the iPhone will come out during WWDC in June. WTF is this July crap.

everybody is trying to convince themselfs that his/her phone is the greatest. i to whas always wondering what is the best phone? the clasic battle between n95 and iphone. well i came to a solution, and i bought them both. now, i am sick of both of them. what i want is one phone with features from both phones (5mp camera, touchscreen, a qwerty slide keyboard, gps...etc). so, even when apple and nokia will merge into one, the will stil be people that will say that the newst and best phone from apple/nokia is crapy... cuz there is a new phone out there that is even greater...idou, tg01, omnia HD. so pls... just buy what you like or what you can afourd and stop this debate. either phone you buy, the most thing you will use it for is just..talking. PS; sorry for the poor english

Come on people, yes, the iphone has never been a great PHONE. But its good for viewing photos. And browsing the internet. And remember, it was Apples first go at making a phone. I'm sure Nokia/Samsung/LG/etc. all made mistakes with their original phones.

3 megapixels is more than enough for full 1080 HD video support.

I prefer a smartphone, like the iPhone with it's native application support.

this phone is crap. about time to include MMS/video&images transfer, to mention this is a firmware issue so is unacceptable how they took 2 years for such an update. 3MP camera is laughable at best not that is laughable but is out of date.

either ill buy the LG viewty 2 and i will be able to take some 8MP pictures and 720x480 videos or ill wait for some HD phone that is better than the omniaHD's low sound quality.

in the meantime i will continue to bash these iphone's poor features. OMG it has MMS!,OLED! and poor video recording(have been available for almost a decade) what an improvement! from this so called "revolution phone"....NOT lmao. isheep community will come up with an excuse as usual

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-05-22 14:42 from M3gi - click to readI have both iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2nd Gen. I don't see what's the state of the art in those things. The only thing that surpass the others is the OS itself. I love the OS compare to another other phones.

If they can change the cheap outdated camera, add video recording without jailbreak, copy and paste, MMS, and better screen then I am sold.

Ahhh.. I know! You are a cheap peas*nt who does not have enough money to buy an iPhone so he settles for a cheap copy like the 5800. Of course he is frustrated because of this so he is here whining! Looser! Go get a job! LOL

Comparing 5800 to an iPhone is like comparing a LADA to an Aston Martin!!!

They are not even in the same category!!! 5800 is a cheap dumb phone with plastic housing and a very weak touch interface. iPhone is a state of the art technology as far as user experience is concerned.
