It's been a one and a half year, and they still haven't made Play Store available for me. (Latvia) OMG, that's just great!

Google does perfectly fine without your support.
They can mine your several linked accounts for targeting you and in the end, that is really what they want.

Google screw us over where I live, by not providing access to Play Store purchases of these phones, so in turn, I support them as little as possible. I'd wanted a Nexus in the past, but couldn't buy without jumping through hoops.

Therefore, will never pay for any app (rather go without if free apps unsuitable), and not upgrading to paid Drive storage are simply 2 examples.

Even more significant, is the fact I don't opt in to their location services, so am not subject to the results (forced feedback) of their data collection (ie. targeted advertising).

They must remember that 2 can play the same game, and I'm hopeful many more individuals do, if they're sensible enough. Not that Google would even care.

But, I use, and get more benefit out of them, than they ever will from me (by rooting/loading custom ROMs/GAPPS etc, which cannot be done on Apple, Windows).

But here in the Philippines all GPe devices are still available exclusively at Widget City and I hope it will still be on stock on December 2014.
