Nokia have been holding out - they have four new devices headed to the US and they are not rebrandings of old devices. This is certainly uncommon, the US getting a GSM Nokia phone before Europe does. Well, we've seen stranger things happen in the past, so why not.

I would just like to know more about the features of the thresher, it looks to me like a very nice S40 upgrade for which will get me in a mix between it and the 6260 Slide provided it comes with a document reader just like the 6260.

Mako looks awful. Actually, they all look horrible. Nokia is going down and they deserve it. Big mistakes were made in the past years, especially last two and is about time they should pay. Hopefully they will have the same end as Siemens Mobile or Alcatel Mobiles. "Good" luck!

Meh~ They copied the designs of HTC, Mot and LG. How come people are so quick to point out that when Nokia is copied but never point out when Nokia copies others?

a lot of kids here need to relax, these phones are obviously not high-end so the specs are not high-end. nokia is nr1 for a reason, it has 100s of models for different people. so if you are in high-end phones dont worry about mid-range

Nokia is being limited to the MP on the cameras because cheap US carriers like ATT and other providers do not want to carry the higher end phones. Everyone knows the hardware and technology is there. They dont want to pay the price to carry them so they outfit them with lower end cameras.

As an American I understand this coming from nokia. People should know that U.S phones suck big time, Im sure the reason nokia is releasing this phones here is because those are specs asked by carriers, ATT. What you all must know is that all phones here are taken under contract, which is why all phones here are cheap and crappy, Americans like free phones, not nice expensive phones. I and almost everyone in my famiy use nokia, but not these garbage shown here that I could get free for signing up 2yrs. We have n95, e71, n82, n96, 5800. See the pattern? I dont mind spending 400 bucks on a phone when I know Im ahead of the average american.
When people look at my phone I always hear the same thing from everyone, "I thought nokia made crappy phones" Yeah for american carriers, and when I tell them I spent 400 or more on it, they get so scared. hahah anyways.
