In Nepal, we get 10 GB HSPA+ data at NRs. 3390 ($34). 1GB at NRs. 791 ($9)
Actually, this plan is $20 per month cheaper than ATT.

In Finland I have made three times a row a deal by calling to my operator´s custom service that I want this kind of deal: 10 euros per month, 5000 sms, 5000min talking time and 2000 mms + 3G unlimited, and without any subscription and I have had it now 4 years and got it again last week for one year, just by calling to the operator :) 10 EUROS per month! I call that good customer service and price!

"HAHA, are prices in America so high? In Lithuania we pay 8 euros for unlimited calls and texts with 1gb of data(3gb thanks to a summer promotion)."
"25€ (about 20$) in France for unlimited everything, even unlimited calls to USA, the 3G/4G data is at full speed until 5GB and after that the speed is decreased. Can the Big Red do better?
BTW, no commitment, but also no phone included."

Do the people who are comparing this price to their country realize that the sheer size of the United States dwarfs theirs? The cost to build towers to cover a gigantic piece of land is exponentially greater that a small country like the UK or France. Not to mention, the upkeep and maintenance on so many towers.
There is a reason it costs a lot more, despite what people say about business greed.
In the UK, I can take out a 12 month Sim Contract on O2 £30 Unlimited Calls/Text 9GB Data 3G/4G no extra cost if its available in your area.
Or on PAYG with 3, £15 300mins Unlimited Text and all you can eat data no restrictions, I use around 15 - 20GB per month also use tethering for my friends. Yeah I know a few would complain about signal but mines perfect.
in indonesia with US$ 4,5/month , i can get true unlimited data...
AnonD-233406, 18 Aug 2014i thought data in nigeria was expensive now i am so wrong. i pay $15 for 4gb on my smart phone... moreOn which network is that? I'm also in naija and Airtel's plans are plain fraudulent. But I'll gladly pay for 4gb@~#2400
In Finland, for example my unlimited 4G/5000 messages/5000 minutes of calling = 25 euros/month. I would never get a data-limited plan, even 6 euros/month would be too expensive for that.
10GB 4G LTE cost like MYR68 ($22) in Malaysia. Tethering is FOC!

Chupacabra, 18 Aug 2014Verizon is going to screw you over on the data overage which is guaranteed with only a 2GB buc... moreTrue, but at the same time.if you use more than most people "per device I'm almost sure" then you get throttled heavily.
Still better.
In Indonesia for less than $12/month you can get 4 GB of data, with speed throttled after that 4 GB.
Verizon is going to screw you over on the data overage which is guaranteed with only a 2GB bucket. Not as good as $60 I'm paying now for unlimited Verizon data.
