Anonymous, 18 Aug 2014Record breaking bezel/screen ratio on the 5.5" model(82.2%), but those batteries: 2,61... moreSharp uses their IGZO screen, so battery life is not as terrible as you imagine. I do agree with you about the thickness though.
Seen all the other phones over the years come out and even bought a couple. Was never wowed but this phone looks like something unique and something I would buy. Especially at that price with that opulent look and data storage card. 149 without contract on Virgin or Boost and 249 on Sprint. That's a great price for a phone that looks like that.
According to pcmag.com, "the phone's whole screen is a speaker. It isn't tissue conduction like those Kyocera phones - you can't hold it to your face and hear it through your bones. But you can put your ear literally anywhere on the screen and hear calls, which means that you don't have to worry about the phone's position on your ear."
AnonD-106979, 20 Aug 2014Exactly, but you don't need to to hold the phone upside down to talk. No, this phone use bone conduction technology. Really hope this phone will be release in US band frequency :(
For information, release annouced for august 29th.
