Apple will never do this....16GB 32GB 64GB will always be available, 128GB might be a new launch....im guessing it wont sell at all. What on earth will you put on your phone. Most people even find it hard to fill 64GB.

Apple should keep the 32GB model in case people do not want to buy 16GB model.

I could have sworn you can use a SD card to expand storage to whatever value you want.

Too forward thinking for you?

why not 32-64-128 ?? and completely rid of 16GB option.
Only reason to keep 16GB I guess is because it is a mass produced chipped which would make it cheap.. But what if they replaced all 16GB manufacturing with 32GB we could get rid of 16GB. And stop making anything less than class 10 SD card to reduce the price.

expandable memory isn't much of a issue and I'd completely understand that Apple would not like people putting inferior memory into their device(Those crappy class 4 SD cards).
And yes, they could just teach people what to look for but a lot of people wouldn't even read/listen to it

Its good if the 64GBversion will cost only $100 more than the 16GB, removing the 32GB is a good thing then. Hope the same will be true for the new iPads.

Apple's slogan has always been: "Yesterday's technology at tomorrow's prices".
