Is it a good thing that my galaxy s3 gets 20,000+ constantly on benchmark
I don't care about benchmark score as long as it runs flawlessly.
Let's hope for a big battery capacity. :D
rj23, 26 Aug 2014I hope that there will be a card slot for the Nexus X. I really love the specs. I am so eager ... moreAll nexus devices (both tablets and phones) after the nexus one does not have a SD card slot..... I wouldn't expect it to have a SD card slot.
I hope that there will be a card slot for the Nexus X. I really love the specs. I am so eager in waiting for this, Note 4 and the K920 of Lenovo. :))
Not what I was expecting. Looks like I'd pick up the Note 4 instead if I am going Android.
The article says that the benchmark score isn't impressive. That's because we are all used to seeing flagships with boosted benchmarks which give us a false sense of performance standards.
If you ever work with a nexus device you won't talk about benchmark scores because it's completely free of lags equipped with latest hardware config and will be the first to receive latest android. I will definitely switch to this nexus X from nexus 5.
AmateurHistorian, 26 Aug 20142.7GHz, stock Android and only 35000? Also, 5.2"? That's kinda big for an all-around phone. So what? My Nexus 4 has far less than that and the whole Android feels a lot faster than on an G3 or S5.
Numbers arent everething.

I've been excited for a long time to see a Motorola take on the Nexus (or a return to HTC). So this should be cool.
It does seem like the 2K screen is going to be a battery killer and processor eater and is not really justified. Hopefully the final product will do a better job on these points than the LG G3.
I'm guessing it's not going to have OIS, since only LG seems to do that these days, which is a bummer. I'd really like OIS. I don't really understand why OIS showed up in several phones, demonstrated that it was clearly superior to other cameras, and then started getting dropped. Of course, if the iPhone 6 has OIS, as rumored, I'm sure suddenly everyone will have to have it and Apple will get credit for having "innovated" the idea.
And I'm guessing it will not have the Audience EarSmart noise cancellation, but rather the inferior noise cancellation that the Moto X has.
I'm happy the screen size is not too enormous though. Hope the handset size is reasonable.
these things just keep getting bigger screens, its getting ridiculous.. how can you consider this a smart phone, a few years ago they were considered mini tablets, then phablets... the sad thing is that Apple is doing it as well..
I'm so excited on Motorola's take on the Nexus! If the build quality is good enough, I'd definitely buy this.
I'm so excited about this nexus device and the android l. It seems a complete overhaul of the previous android versions. Benchmarks don't matter that much. It's the user experience that counts. ;)
Why everyone still obsessed with the score of the benchmark, machine can be tune to suit the needs of benchmarking tools...While the daily use performance only made the points because when come to daily use, we never use the phone under maximize mode all the time. Nexus line family are never be the top of the benchmarking board, but it is the most smoothness android device that I ever used until now..
I am so impressed with the spec for this time and as always, nexus are keeping it up with previous successor.
I am really feel glad that nexus 6 are coming after the previous rumour about android Silver...
Looking forward for futher leak on this nexus ^^
