Anonymous, 08 Jun 2009it will have a 3.5" screen. all I can say is SE RULENo it won't, It's a 3.2. if it has a 3.5(like satio) + keys under screen it will be huge.
i don't like X1...it's suck.
but maybe different with X2...
i love huge RAM and also huge processor..
Robot, 08 Jun 2009It will have a 3.2' screen not a 3.5'.it will have a 3.5" screen.
all I can say is SE RULE
This X2 will be the best Windows Mobile device and its a Sony so it will be a great entertainment phone!
I hope they won't disappoint the public by announcing it early and deliver it too late... i was once a fan of X1, unfortunately it took several months of delayed until i decided to buy omnia. I hope SE can deliver this phone on time.
the same day the iphone is meant to be released... ha ha love it. good to see high spec phones coming out. will keep everyone busy. Iphone better not drag the chain to much or sales will continue to fall. ps i am a nokia N82 user looking at the new iphone or N97.
the design looks ugly. if you put it landscape clearly seen that the screen isn't centered. specs is fine, but design is a massive no no.
Step666, 08 Jun 2009A Xenon flash would require the handset to be thicker than it would be otherwise, as you need ... morethanks for clearing some things up,you're absolutely right but I was just thinkin "what would it be if it had a xenon flash" ...I think the new Pixon12 won't be such a bid deal on the camera part...and TouchWiz "OS" is not reliable enough...just my opinion
It seems that the screen aspect ratio is 4:3 not wide, the XI WVGA screen lools longer than X2 in this Pic, Im affraid its only VGA (640x480) but hopefully its SVGA (800X600) Do u Agree?
well i prefer the design of x1.....this x2 design look kinda cheap...like those chinese phone
YO GUYS check this out:
XPERIA X5 looks hot!!!!
not so sure about the X2, them pics look fake!!!
eCStAzzy, 08 Jun 2009It's that hard to integrate a xenon flash in a smartphone unit like this? I mean why have 8.1M... moreA Xenon flash would require the handset to be thicker than it would be otherwise, as you need to fit some rather large capacitors inside the phone to charge the flash.
Also, very few people see Xenon flashes as all that big of an advantage - sure they're more powerful than LED ones but they still don't make that big of a difference when they're as small as it would need to be to fit into a phone.
Anyway, if you're worried about picture quality, then surely unneecessarily high pixel counts are far more of a worry than whether or not a handset has a Xenon flash?
I mean, look at the the rumoured Samsung 12MP handset with an optical zoom. As nice as it would be to have optical zoom on a phone, with 12 million pixels, I despair for the quality of the pictures it will take - personally I would rather see the same handset with only 8MP or even 5 but I know that's unlikely to happen/impossible respectively.
