iPhone doesnt support flash websites = FAIL. The only reason which is stopping me from buying it that there is no flash support.
Heck even the low cost phones have flash now...

I think that Apple have demonstrated that they can turn the mobile market upside down with their innovative design and cutting edge application features. To the people commenting about how this phone is out of date, you are clearly too stupid to understand what the iphone is all about - the penny should have dropped by now that it’s not supposed to be the best camera phone on the market, its all about user interface, email, internet browsing and probably the most revolutionary application interface any phone has ever seen.
Personally I use a Blackberry, but this is really for anyone else that wants to write silly comments degrading the iphone, comparing it against the Omnia HD! Come on…..it’s a great device and they are giving other manufacturers the kick up the backside they really need.
I’m not suggesting everyone should go and by one, it’s touch screen for a start - not everyone’s preference, but please stop talking a load of rubbish!
So in short, don’t “dis” the iphone, embrace it, because it will make other manufacturers think harder and give us all better handsets!

iPhone is improving (oled etc.) but camera just sucks, put a good 5pm or better 8mp (like sam 8510) and I will get it

the new iphone will just be another over hyped waste of money and a gimick. wow a 3.2 camera and video recording.. just what we've always wanted.. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY, come on all together now, WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! oh i almost forgot, 32 GB.. i have a 120GB ipod so thats not new.. all apple are doing with the new handset is annoying iphone 3g customers because the handset is SLIGHTLY better than theres..

Many people require convenience, flexibility and functionality beyond the basic multimedia. Based on the balance of the features and my needs, iPhone is out of consideration for me. I have always loved Nokia n-series, but...N97?? Come on!! 5800?? Jeez... They don't have a living chance against iPhone. And the only way you can know this, is if you have used, and I don't mean for 5 sec in a store, the iPhone. Enough said.:D

The only point I was TRYING to make was that the iPhone has really shaken up the technological devolpment of Mobile phones. which is a win win situation for us, the end consumer...
I guarentee you if there were no iPhone, we would be in a very different situation with regards to Nokia/Lg/SE/Samsung Etc etc....
Personally I wouldn't own one again, I am simply grateful that it exists.

Suprisely, the new so-called iPhone 3G V3 was on our system since recently, for like a week. We had 16GB/32GB black or white on PIE, now it's gone again. leaked infomation? By the way, I work for Carphone Warehouse UK. :- ) Really excited to see the new version, can't wait!

I phone is really the gadget of all time ,its easy of use ,thousands of applications and functionality make it one of the best multimedia ever and the secret about it is that if you use it one time you will never be able to use or even think of using any other phone

improve their technology u say? maybe you see better spec on the Sam HD, ONLY on PAPER, but real life usage is completely different and it sucks! I have a samsung Omnia and its a pain in the Arse!

I agree with Dubz. iPhone pioneered nice user interface, but I find Apple's restrictive policies, locks, unremovable SIM and general specs of no interest to me. I am not even considering possibility of buying iPhone. Let see what they will announce now.

I thought about buying one of those, an iPhone. They just didn't appeal to me, the performance of the the touch screen is out of this world but that it. I mean really from a hardware stand point, its not that stellar. Things like the HD Omina, Innov8, and other high spec phones don't get much play is because not many people know about them, least not here in the US. If these phones where availible through plans and promoted, the iPhone wouldn't even be blip on the radar. However this thing is only so popular because of Apples iPod brand and other "i" products. If samsung, nokia, LG, anyone else made developed it, no one would care. This thing has an amazing company behind it thats very able to make something thats really kinda bland and wrap it in a very nice package. I'm sorry I've never seen the appeal for such a thing, and never will.
