The i900 and i910 are one of the most versatile/powerful phones out there and blow the iphones out of the water.
If this phone has the capabilities of the current omnia (which it looks like it will) and on top of that you add an 8mp camera and all the other cool new features (and hopefully a 3.5mm jack....the only drawback to the current omnia in my opinion) it's sure to be a hit.

A better and more touch sensitive touchscreen is an absolute MUST with the Omnia 2, but the STYLUS should not be forgotten.
I don't care if the designer has forgotten to put a slot AGAIN for it. But at least, there must be a stylus like the i900 on the side.
I start to like the way the stylus hang on the side of the i900 anyway. I sometimes will grab the i900 by the extended wire attached to the stylus, which can be convenient. Plus, I have a better visual whether the stylus is there or not.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-10 13:02 from vGqJ1) No dual SIM
- How many people need this?
2) No Slider Keyboard
- Same, how many percent of people ready needs slider keyboard?
3) No Stylus input
- It definitely will came with unless WinMo make a big changes. If they make a big change all touchable by finger, then finger touch is always better than stylus.
4) Win Mo Software
- What wrong with WinMO software?
5) High Radiation levels
- Which phone is not?!?
6) Standard Charger (Mini USB) and Headphone jack
- This is a benefit! I don't know what are you thinking of.
7) Stereo Blue tooth???
- No people told you it not support. A2DP is common in all new phone now as no need to advertise as main spec.
8) Not 4G compatable
- What!!! even Japan also still testing on it. You are crazy or short of knowledge. 4G won't come so soon, what the point added on it?

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-10 13:02 from vGqJ1) No dual SIM = Who uses dual SIM? During the "juvenille" years of mobile phones probably. Now with roaming, extremely competitive service plans. Messaging and call rates at rock bottom levels. Why dual sim?
2) No Slider Kayboard = I think this is a personal preference but I agree that some form of hardware input is preferred. I'm no fan of pure touchscreen devices.
3) No Stylus input = This WILL have stylus. WM devices MUST have stylus.
4) Win Mo Software = Personel preference I suppose.
5) High Radiation levels = Yes its as high as Cherynobyl.
6) Standard Charger (Mini USB) and Headphone jack = What's wrong with the charger? Unless its some Samsung propriety jack, its standard for WM devices to have USB chargers. So you don't need 10 chargers when a standard USB cable would suffice.
7) Stereo Blue tooth??? = Do you mean Bluetooth 2.0 / 2.1 EBR?
8) Not 4G compatable = Who the hell uses 4G anyway. Also 4G doesn't exist. Not yet. Its a marketing gimmick. WiMax of whatever its called is just a longer range of normal WiFi. True 4G is still not deployed yet.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-10 19:00 from nbuyYes it is. This is like comparing a PC with say an XBOX360. Pound for pound, the hardware on a PC is many times more powerful than a 360. But a 360 is tightly integrated while a PC is more for a lack of a better word, "loose" which leads to what you call "effectiveness". Also because a PC needs say Windows to run a software, it doesn't have all its RAM available to the system unlike the XBOX360. So yes pound for pound, a WM device's hardware is more powerful than a Symbian device. As for "effectiveness", I think you meant "efficiency", its how WM is designed. Its how computers are designed. You have X amount of RAM, the O/S always uses Y amount. So what is left is Z=X-Y. As for the "effectinvess" part, definitely Symbian does a better job handling multiple softwares. But that's because softwares written for Symbian is usually based on a fixed standard. E.g. Memory consumption cannot exceed a certain amount. WM devices are only restricted to what hardware you use WM. In other words, you can write a WM software that requires 512MB dedicated RAM. It would work on WM. But you need someone to make a device that has that much dedicated RAM. Hence why some software written for WM performs better in some devices but not others.

Are you saying that a WinMo phone with similar specs is better than it's Symbian counterpart? Obviously you don't know what you're talking about, since the WinMo OS will use half of the specs for itself alone, not availible for the user!!! WinMo sucks when it comes to effectiveness!

Hmm.. The Omnia2 video seems to suggest a memory problem. Tip? Picture viewer. HTC's Camera Album is better and the gesture controls work and they have 288MB RAM (referring to the Touch2 phones). This version is lagging all over when loading the pictures. Once loaded, select images and the zoom, etc is lagging which again indicates a memory problem. I think the reason its possibly in the TouchWiz. If TouchWiz lags even in a standard Samsung phone, which uses less memory than a WM device then its an indication the UI is very inefficient or in PC terms, a memory hog.
