I just wish it would fail . Then all the rest of the manufacturers would stop copying them and produce useless devices -- I'm tired of not seeing any major improvements from nokia because of them trying to get into an area[touch based ] that is not their strong point .

Dissapointing.... absolutly dissapointing they never develop their design... video recorder? that should of release at the first iPhone!!
i rather buy LG Arena or Samsung omionia watevea they call it...they will go down just like motorola did(razr v3). No change in function and in design NO good! TO APPLE: I'LL NEVER BUY EVA AGAIN!!

Dear All
I know that everyone as me who was waiting for the new iphone is absolutely disappointed. All this time that we have been reading the news and waiting for the new iphone, and all the money spent on the applications has been a waste in a lot of ways. This new iphone is only a minor upgrade, nothing extra and the most disapponiting thing is that it has the same external looks !! How hard is it for a company to change the shape of a few??!!! One whole year, and the only thing that apple could do is just enhance the hardware a little bit, and keep the same external figure !!
I am sure that apple will loose a majority of customers who already have the iphone 3G, as we were all looking forward to upgrade, but after this disappointing presentation, what is the need to upgrade and pay an extra £150-£200 just to get the same phone again!!
Applications and the app store is brilliant, but if the hardware is only enhanced at a minor pace, then who will buy it?
This new iphone is only good for the new customers that have not bought the iphone till now, but personally as me, i think that the already existing customers who have the iphone 3G will upgrade to something else, maybe to the iphone 4G when it comes out in 2010!!!!!
What a great disappointment, no words can express how i feel so sad and shocked and disappointed by apple !! Bottom line: apple is telling all of us who own a 3G iphone, that we are all scr"""d !!!

3rd seen action ....i just imagine apple managers in a meeting room and in the front on the table you can see nokia & smasung & sony ericsson mobiles belongs to them ....and watching the people who use the iphone and planning to have one... then suddenly one of the managers said ...see.. i told you they are just punch of loosers :)))))))))))......sory for my worst english:)

Well I don't know about you guys but I live in Egypt. In summer, temperature goes as high as 46 degree Celsius in here. According to this, I can't operate an iPhone 3GS on any of Cairo's streets on a summer day! I wonder if it's really that tight of a range as they state...

what a waste of fricking time. i waited in anticipation for this new jesus phone to take the mobile world by storm. however it was more like a wet fart.
im going for the palm pre or the nokia n97 when its released in the uk. no multi-tasking on a phone released in 2009...what a disaster

Sorry guys! I posted a wrong bit of info.
iPhone 3G owners are not getting the universal voice command with the 0S 3.0 upgrade. That's really sad because this feature is really important when you're driving your car. That's a bugger for sure!
