You can always push your emails with nokia push emails darling.... www.email.nokia.com. Download and install it on your phone. It's quite convenient. Good luck!
south africa, 16 Jun 2009i have e71 and must admit thats its a great phone except the fact that you dont have push emai... moree71 does support push email through nokia messaging, go to email.nokia.com from the web browser on the phone, install the app, there you go, full push email, free to use just involves data; up to 10 email accounts, hotmail included. You can have this app on pretty much any eseries or nseries and the 5800:

Thus, N95 is not really a trend setter.
The real trend setter is the manufacturer who put a camera on the phone or the one who put a touch screen on the phone.
The rest of the statement you made is as if saying why go for BMW when you can have a mini. Both are cars. BMW have a little more features but much more expensive. So think wisely when you choose.
I wonder what phone are you using. Cheers :)
Yeai know it is happening these days but I am just using an example and "after all nobody is going to make a Hollywood movie in daily life..."
True and don't you think 5 mp is enogh for taking good pictures when your with family or friends? and 30fps recording is even suitable

Anonymous, 16 Jun 2009And I think each company whether it be Nokia, Samsung, S.E are doing a great job... yes and do... moreThis "why don't you buy a camera if you aim for more megapixel" question has been asked many many times.
Still the same answer to you my friend.
Its personal preferences.
As for me, i bring my phone around most of the time but not my camera.
So its great if my phone can take great photos with the quality almost as good as my camera.
yet!, 15 Jun 2009maybe its not the best touch fone around, but when i see this fone, i know it shakes some atte... moreIn Singapore you can get a phone in much cheaper price if you sign up with a plan. Thus choosing an expensive phone is not uncommon.
Plus Nokia phone is always much more expensive than others if compare range by range.
And I think each company whether it be Nokia, Samsung, S.E are doing a great job... yes and do you know what their job is? Emptying your pockets and I believe they are pretty darn good at it.
Also if you are dying for a phone with a 12mp camera, why don't you buy a good 16 mp camera with hd, trust me it will be alot cheaper then any 12 or 8 mp phone, and will produce much better results but do you know why? Because the purpose of a camera is to TAKE PHOTOS and TO RECORD VIDEOS.
Lol think about it, if tomorrow a camera company adds calling and texting features to it's device, whats the difference b/w a phone and that camera? and people might even buy it even if its 2x more costly
1at of all lol whsts the point of arguing on this form, i mean it wont make a difference to Nokia, SE, Samsung or anyone they will continue making phones the way they want to.
True that Nokia isn't in the mega pixel race but its their own choice and despite the fact they aren't i believe they are still doing a darn good job.
Where as S.E and Samsung are concerned, they are the two competetors in the mega pixel race and do you know why?
BECAUSE OF 1 PHONE THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING
All phones are an upgrade to the N95;
Innov8: increased camera and a drivx/xvid support
now what difference is there apart from these two features and to be honest with you an 8 megapixel lens isn't extremely costly.
Idou: Touch screen + 8 Mp camera + 1 more Sony only feature
so you see there isn't much of a change, each company makes the same phone with a few features that will attract the customers and we are foolish enough to pay 3 times the cost of something that just has a 12Mp Lens in it? Aren't we?
The same goes for Nokia as well they don't make much of an effort now either, they just make the same phone with tiny updates and a thinner/ better looking body and sometimes, an increase in the camera lens.
And the reason to why the ratings of Omnia Hd, Satio, etc go up so quickly is because everyone wants to have a device that can do everything but my dear, cars are ment to stay on the road not to fly like air-planes aren't they?
Nokia is( well was atleast) the trend setter
You see, every company now a days makes a phone that is an upgraded version of the N95's features but whats so great about these phones?
So please think a little before buying the phone, try to look carefully at what the company is selling maybe you end up buying the same thing with a different shape/body and just a slightly better lens and also if something has a purpose its best to keep it to that limit. Your car wont start flying if you attach wings to it :p
NO OFFENCE TO ANYONE
i have e71 and must admit thats its a great phone except the fact that you dont have push email, i.e. Blackberry. Does anyone know if the e72 has it cause im about to change to blackberry bold even though i dont like the bigger size.
a lot of kids here. e72 will be a best-seller in the business market and 5530 will do well because of the cheep price. these are not high-end feature phones so you cant demand 12mp or hd recording. i bet these phones will perform very good in their target market

The differences you mentioned are subtle and nothing to get excited about. I bet my 5mp canon or 8mp panasonic digi cam can easily out shine any 12mp camera phone offering.
They call it the herd mentality, and that's what companies capitalise on.
Anyway, each to their own but don't think that Nokia will lose the top spot because it lacks a 12mp phone. Never!!!!!

Nokia, long refused to enter the megapixel race bcoz it's a pointless exercise and more of a marketing gimmick to gullible consumers. Increasing the sensor, better optics and software are it's focus at the moment, and justifiably so.
That said, seeing you crave a 12mp camera phone, plz go ahead and buy the samsung,lg or Se offerings and see if Nokia will lose sleep over that. It's as simple as that. If Nokia has no 12mp phone and you want one, simply buy one from it's competitors.
A 12mp Nokia phone will come but at it's own time and not bcoz it's competitors are flooding the market with them. OK!!!!!
