I use my flash for more then the camera - I use it as a lamp or light quite frequently, so I definitely want a flash.

Yes, it can be made for resistive touchscreens. In your example, the firmware embedded in the controller for the touchscreen just has to be programmed fine enough to distinguish between the electrical resistance between the two points you actually touched and the slight indentation made between those two points, if there is even one at all. The problem is multi-touch controllers are difficult to program until now, that is why Apple had dozens of patents for its implementation. Again, it's their touchscreen controller that enables multi-touch, not because the screen is capacitive.

let me ask you guys something...i dont wanna sound like a jerk, but would you compare macs to pcs? so y would it be wrong to compare this phone with symbian based phones? dont they serve the same purpose (i,e entertainment, quality, functinality, design?). ITs definately better to compare this to the x1 and htc touch pro2, but i dont see anything wrong with cmparing it to the n97 either. afterall, symbian and winmo ARE in competition and they DO need to be compared to figure out if you want a symbian based phone or a winmo phone. I personally would never buy a winmo phone just because i find windows is so sloppy in every way. Please provide options and pos/cons to each operating system

I really want one, but 800 bucks seems a bit high. It's probably worth it, but not in my budget right now.

> In reply to Kumander Robot @ 2009-06-15 17:30 from 2AnU - click to readsorry bro, but resistive cant have multi touch.. only capacitive.
imagine multi touch on resistive? nah.. i you push the two points at the screen, you will apply pressure which make the middle also get some pressure.. do you get what i mean?
while capacitive dont need any pressure that is why multi touch is good at capacitive..
and...
I LOVE THE PHONE! the best..
i prefer resistive because of stylus.. =D
this is my dream phone.. just WOW!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-15 16:34 from PI5L - click to readHaha, your comment is meant to be sarcastic, I get it, too bad Andrew Tan took it literally :P. This *IS* the state-of-the-art, not that HypePhone. Also, to answer another anonymous post,a resistive screen can also be made to be multi-touch, it's not true that only capacitive screens can be made like that. Multi-touch control is a function of the firmware controller running the touchscreen.
