I read two articles regarding this issue. It looks like the both articles were written by the same person with the same pictures? Who this person could be?
facts:
Samsung Galaxy Note 4's gap is manufacturing defect,
and can be easily replaced by a new unit.
Apple's bendgate is design flaw. so, even if your bended iphone is replaced by brand new unit, it will eventually bend again.
Anonymous, 29 Sep 2014Samsung boy logic Apple is the premium brand so it can not have any build issue. Samsu... moreCAN NOT have build issues? where you from? You might be illiterate or the train must have left you hanging.. Then explain the Bendgate if that is NOT an issue iFan..
This is a factory issue not a design issue so no big deal.
Anyway it's ugly enough,no one will notice the gap :))))
Shame of quality Assurance team of Apple and Samsung both :)
People are fighting for Apple vs Samsung, both done the same thing huge profit by breaking quality and trust.
It happens sometimes but... No match of Note series
Gaps apparently go back to the S3, I didn't realize the problem (isolated mind you) has been around for that long but it has. All in all I think it's pretty funny, just like the iBend problem and in both cases probably concern a small amount of devices. However they SHOULD be blown out of proportion because it's hilarious (look up the Conan bend skit) for one but more importantly it shames companies into being more proactive with quality control. This is coming from a Samsung fan.
Let's hope for those customers that don't immediately notice the issue that Samsung steps up and replaces them without a hassle. Their customer service is absolutely brutal and needs major improvement.
That's why they said
People who live in glass house shouldn't throw stone.
Samsung boy logic

Samsung's phone always feels cheaper anyway is its charm.

Wow hahaha Samsung fans are angry! Sorry guys, Bendgate was blown out of proportion. Consumer Reports and Square Trade tested them and actually found them very robust. In fact, they found iPhone 6 to be the most durable in its class, so thanks for actually bringing the highlight on to iPhone build quality, which has now backfired on Samsung.
Gapgate might not be so easy to get rid off, if it is a real problem.
Another expensive low grade Samsung phone.
Good thing it's fan have low expectation.
I had this gap issue on my galaxy S5 ... same side of the phone but two business cards coold fit!! ... mind you I received an replacement but I was appalled that Quality Assurances were not in check when a phone such as the flag ship S5 had such issues ...

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2014Apple did not mention anything about this. Dont bother talking to them. Thats samsung fans logic. when somethings going wrong they blame other brand.
