5.9 or 5 or even 4 inches, I HEART nexus. with this hardware I will BUY IT for sure
Can someone explain why GSM arena mentions a dpi of 496 while the image shows a dpi of 560?
Looking at the data, and calculating a bit, we can see that screen size turns out to be about 5 inch not 5.9. the pixels along diagonals turns out to be 2792 and pixel density to be 560 ppi, we get diagonal screen size to be 4.98 or about 5 inches.
I don't realy see the point for quad hd displays. Even 720p displays with over 300ppi are very nice looking displays. Full hd displays with way over 400ppi are already perfect for phones. You can't even see the pixels in full hd displays unless you put your eye on the display. Literally on the display. So what is the point of quad hd on a phone? It makes a phone with the best processor qualcomm has to fall in between snapdragon 800 and 801 in performance and eats all the juice in the battery.
I remember when the first Galaxy S phone was released in 2010, it had 4.0 inch display and many people considered it too large :O
Zivko, 09 Oct 2014Has 3GB of RAM, only 800MB free. Nice job Google. Just kidding... You SUCK!!!These whiners about the amount of free ram should go and learn how android works.
I think the nexus 6 will have a snapdragon 808 or 810 since android L is 64 bit
i see the screen dpi to be 560.. so the screen size may not be 5.9" as rumored..
awwww meeen, i wan'ted 64-bit :( now i have to wait more? i can't wait, screw it, i will uy this, once a 64-bit nexus came out i will sell it :D

faridz, 09 Oct 2014the size of the screen will ruin all of the good things that this phone has.
what have they t... moreThats what people used to say before >5 inch phones started to appear. I usued to think that a bigger screen is not for me.
But when a friend of mine bought a big size screen I changed my mind
5.9", seriously? Sadly I might have to move to crappy iPhones when my phone gets old... just because the size is good.
Even though DPI and PPI are entirely different things, CPU-Z usually refers to PPI (even if it says otherwise), and a QHD resolution with 560 PPI links to a 5.2" screen.
A 5.2" screen and a 3200mAh battery is everything I could ask from the Nexus 6.
Gary5, 09 Oct 2014For me new Moto X is Nexus 6 bcz 6 inch phone makes no sense. For tasks that need big screen,t... moreBetter still, instead of the iPad there are other Android Tablets or the new upcoming Nexus Tablet.
It's the nexus 6, of course it's going to be 6 inches. Google has been using this making convention for years.
A refresh on the nexus 4 would be nice but the market has moved bigger.
