The HTC's "Ultra Pixel" cameras -as I understood- are renowned for producing a "very good" images quality in low light conditions, compared to the regular "Mega Pixel" cameras.
Just out Curiosity; Can't they –engineer at HTC- came up with a 13UP (or higher) version and mount it in their new phones?
I live in India and I have to say HTC is not that popular here. Don't get me wrong, it's well known and a respectable brand but at the end of the day no one buys them.
And Haters I'm a HTC user here.
Used the one x, then the m7 now the m8 so hate away. I'm just stating my observation
HTC finally aknowledged their 4mp "ultra pixel" camera can't compete with good 13+ mp cameras of today flagships. Ultra pixels are a little too late, if they appeared in the time of 3mp cameras, it'd be a huge hit. Now, however, there are better technologies.
Hopefully, HTC will continue to work towards making better products.
