I am fan of Sony mobiles. I have been a Sony mobile since last 3 years and its been great in many terms like music, voice quality, graphics etc.

This new phones T715 looks interesting. Do someone has any idea if the Memory of this phone is extensible. Its say 90 MB phone memory but that's very less i suppose if not extensible.

Thanks
Dev

How glorious! Another device which arguably is not an advancement in technology from the excellent K800i. Not long since when the K800i was launched, SE has appeared unwilling to innovate to the same degree and now risks alienating many customers by insisting that its devices remain higher priced than alternatives in the market. How can, for instance the T700 be worth £159 sim free when for that outlay one can purchase better equipped mobile devices? C'mon Sony Ericsson!

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-29 08:26 from qJ9xSaito might be a snappy Japanese name but as someone already pointed out, it's Satio. And what the hell is a Satio? Is it pronounce Sa-tee-oh or is it pronounced sa-chi-oh? Does it grow on someone's butt or in between toes? Once my prof asked me what the hell a Vaio is. I told him it's a japanese word for a fancy VD you get from foreigners. Yes, i got VAIO.

Here's a suggestion to everyone, before you come here to complain about this phone or what SE is doing, go look at the SE Saito. Read the pre-view of the Saito, then slowly read it one more time.

Now you don't look like an ignorant cry-baby, simple isn't it?

> In reply to Ewan! @ 2009-06-28 12:30 from TIE7Regarding your comments about SE doing the same designs, Samsung and LG eating the market.

Both very good observations.
1) Every company repeats some elements of design, as it is their signatures for the brand. Just like how all addidas shoes, or converse shoes have a specific "style" to them, so do cellphone branding. But worry not, from the looks of the last 3 core phones SE announced (Aino, Satio/Idou, Yari) they are switching gears to a different 'look'. Seems like they're trying to provide the rest of the world with a "Japanese mobile" look, that everybody's just been starring in envy for the longest time.

2) Samsung and LG are eating up the market because they're make 10x more phones than the other brands. Successfully at that! Both good and bad.... Bad being that they spend next to no time re-fining their products, and they spend no time releasing firmware updates for their released products. Good thing is, they're getting fantastic sales, and through these sales, they will have a huge advantage on improving to the next best thing! I still hate the fact that LG doesn't release any firmware updates for their customers.....

I think Sony Ericsson should come out of its shell... It's high time they introduce touch phones that are mid-priced...they should also stop sticking to the slider design.. that's quite old now.. just becoz the sliders have had a huge success in the market doesn't mean customers will keep buying that forever... it is high time they innovate! Looking forward to a good touch phone hopefully running Android customized for Sony..

Seems like people have lost their common sense,
there are different markets that have to be satisfied as well,
mediocre earning people do not really appreciate,
prices that reach the stratosphere and features they'll never use.
I fully agree with you.

What people have to realize is that different markets have to be satisfied.

> In reply to Ewan! @ 2009-06-28 12:30 from TIE7So tell me, what other phone looks like the Saito? Is there any other 'boring' design that looks like the Saito? If there is, you should go and buy it. Otherwise, it seems that you don't like SE phones and there designs. Are you a slave? Do you have a free mind? Why don't you choose the phone that you like, instead of just complaining because SE releases a mid-range phone that lacks a few features.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-06-28 00:40 from IEjVSince you know everything about cell phones, will you tell me how much the T715 costs? Please, I'd like to know, since you are able to compare the cost of phones that are already out with one that hasn't been released yet, you must know everything.

All those people telling SE haters things like this, things like that.. please do understand that we are actually NOT SE haters. Like me, I commented that SE is keep on doing same old boring design, common, we need to accept the fact and the truth. I am still an SE die hard fan and until now I am still hoping that SE will come up with the phones like SE and LG, otherwise all their effort and hardwork will be wasted, and I will be very sad if this happens.

I stop buying SE phones for the last 4 years, my last SE phones was SE P900i, I have owned about 18 SE phones for the last 6 years. Now, am I an SE hater? I don't think so. I am more SE concern, I want them to just wake up, Samsung and LG are eating him up... later he will suffer the same fate as Motoroal and Siemens.
