agamenon, 15 Oct 2014as long as the system will run more smoothly in 64 bit i will take in any day before 32 bit . ... moreI play some online phone games. A hacker actually bumped one of the games frame rate up and it runs very very smoothly now on nexus 5. 64 bit is not needed in many cases - just a decent set of devs that know how to optimise a game is all we need. Although I would like to see how the gameloft games run on 64bit as they are truely terrible on Android.
i don't see a good future... also the google stuff on google website looks like those stupid things apple says on their website !
Roll up roll up - come and get your glorified moto E. Nexus design is supposed to be plain and not supposed to have a 6 month old design from a budget phone. Price is way too high. I have nexus 5 which is my first nexus and probably my last. Don't worry guys as true devs don't need an oversized monstrosity to do their work.
mercereno, 15 Oct 2014There are no 64 bit android phones you can compare this to. And exactly how many apps in apple... moreas long as the system will run more smoothly in 64 bit i will take in any day before 32 bit . since i dont game on my phone , default browser and phone performance as a "phone" matters to me most. As for app support it will come by time . Why not have the best of the best and wait a bit when you settle for less and will have to upgrade later. Just my thought though
Actually it's aimed more at the mass market this time. Stereo speakers a decent camera and decent battery. If it was aimed solely at developers then they would have put 64bit chipset in it and not worried about the battery and not given us a huge very high res screen. That said it's just too big for comfortable use and will appeal more to the ladies - most of which don't know a thing about developing or what is a good phone lol.
6 inches is too big! Try using it with one hand in public transport or putting it in your pants pocket. Also that price is ridiculous.
What the hell is wrong with Google. SUPERSIZE ME !! Waiting for my 12 inch long phone :-)
Hello, just a quick clarification, the Nexus 5 comes in 16 GB and 32 GB capacities, not 64 GB as stated near the end.
Sorry Google, Nexus 2014 Fail.
Its not a phone, it offers nothing over a Nexus 5 with android L
hugely dissapointed in the screen size. At 6 inches it's just waaay too big for normal people. I can't understand why Google went with such an absurd size.
agamenon, 15 Oct 2014The design that motorola has gone with the front of the phone is amazing . Slim bezzels are so... moreThere are no 64 bit android phones you can compare this to. And exactly how many apps in apple app store are optimized for 64 bit?
People seriously before blindly criticizing keep in mind that this and note 4 are the only phones to run s805 and in my country Samsung will probably release the exynos version. And about the size it has a 0.5 inch bigger screen than 6+ and is not much bigger. I fell my nexus 5 is small and should have been bigger. This phone is a true flagship and is not overpriced. Look at z3, note4, g3, m8 etc. People are criticizing just because its not cheap. Get over it. It is easily by anyone's standard in the top 3 smart phones right now and deserves to be priced accordingly
