As soon ... moreWell not really. 64bit processing does have some benefits. Well optimized apps can run better (by a slight margin though). But it comes at an expense: it uses more RAM. And for the iPhones, that isn't very good news.
This is why, usually 64bit processing is only recommended on systems with at least 4GB RAM, which not even Android devices have right now (let alone Apple).

As soon as my Samsung Galaxy Note Edge arrives, I will be enjoying 32-bit goodness via my S-Pen and innovative side screen. Hopefully it will get delivered before 2015. As usual, Samsung crushes its rivals in innovation, profits and market share. Attaboy, Sammy!
