Fujifilm has announced the top of the line model in the X-series, the X-T2. The new camera comes with a 24.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor and X-Processor Pro. It has an ISO range of 100 to 6400 and for the first time on an X-series camera can record 4K video up to 30fps.
The X-T2 has an updated AF system with 325 single AF points and 91 zone focusing points. The phase detection AF points cover 40% of the imaging area. The camera focuses in just 0.06 seconds with improved low light focusing.
The X-T2 has a dust and moisture resistant body with 63 points of weather sealing. The 0.48-inch OLED viewfinder has a 2.36 dot resolution and the 3.0-inch tempered glass LCD on the back has 1.04 million dots and tilts up, down, and sideways. The camera also has Wi-Fi built-in.
The Fujifilm X-T2 is priced at $1,599 (body-only) and $1,899 with the XF18-55mm kit lens. It will be available in September.
