While the 3G-enabled Samsung Gear S2 Classic is already available for purchase in the US and the UK, the wearable has now been launched in France as well. Carrier Orange has joined hands with international digital security firm Gemalto to bring the device to France, where it currently costs €299.99.
To refresh, the Gear S2 Classic 3G is the world's first connected watch that comes with an eSIM. Specs-wise, its is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor, and sports a 1.2-inch 360x360 circular AMOLED touchscreen. RAM is 512MB, while internal memory is 4GB. The device packs in a 300 mAh battery, runs Tizen, and is IP68 certified for dust and water resistance.
If this thing will only last 3 hours of battery as standalone using data, forget it! It should at least last 18 hours as standalone, or it's a waste of money.
