I have just purchased it.
Really cool but 2 issues:
1. Sound Leakage.
2. Contacts sometimes not found.That is, it has poor string matching functions.
Overall its 70% rated by me.

guyz this phone is cheaper than 1280 it is available new in the market in only 1600 rs/= where as 1280 is available new in 1950 rs/= so i will suggest you go for 103 instead of nokia 1280.

Good think Nokia now a days all people thinking for battery backup.
It's look very simple mobile.

i bought a phone but it is very boring! its slow and does not work propery. its manufactured from india.

Even though the price plays an important role at the present but i still interest this cellphone because it looks very simple . But it is more better if it comes with dual sim. ( if it can use one sim it is almost the same like Nokia 1202 or 1280 = So it is not very attracted by our people nowaday. My father doesn't use internet, he needs to talk only. He likes to use a basic phone like this (with flashlight & Radio and long last battery). I plan to purchase this phone as a present for my parents. Thanks to Nokia.

yar its totaly 1280 copy and in nokia low range phone its have a voice problem .,,,,

Look like 1280 if nokia had not fixed voice leakage problem like in many low budget phones. This is totally waste of money. If voice leakeage is still there i would recommend Samsung phones are better in this price range.

I just want to suggest Nokia to release handphone with larger screen size (5" ?). Its size is between phone and tablet. I think that it is not totally a wrong idea but it is more comfortable than small mobile phone and popular too. By the way Nokia 103 is a nice & beautiful one , i'm really like its desigh especially the black & white display. Lot of thanks to Nokai for bringing good and unique handsets for us.

I convert audios at 48kbps AAC-HEv2 which sounds like 128kbps MP3 and videos at 64kbps video, 64 AAC-LC audio 144p .. in total I have 480 audios and 190 videos on my 2GB memory card and 100mb are still left.. I use it like an iPod.. I should get an award for this, LOL..

Go for Nokia C1-02..
