Nokia 106 is my replacement phone in case my smartphone is broken or stolen, so I don't use it much. It has an excellent filter - even if a train goes by, it's hardly heard on the other side :) For me the only downside is rather quiet speaker (calling in noisy places is rather hard) without regulation.
This phone works well for basic calling and texting, but only stores 200 messages and the texts aren't in a threaded view so you have to flick between messages to find the one you want. The flashlight is a useful tool but isn't as bright as some others. The phone is quite lightweight. The radio works well. Battery lasts generally last between 3-6 days depending on usage.
If its a push in clip i used the tip of nail clippers to hold clip in and then pushed the back cover off or the sharp end of a nail file. When battery goes it expands and can make getting the back cover off more difficult. Not sure if this phone has the same cover type as my old nokia phone.
I have a new Nokia 106 with an old SIM card When I type in a number that's not in my phone or not saved, but has been phoned from my sim before and I type this number in for the first time (that I know about)and go to call history it comes up I have phoned this number before is this coming up from my SIM card or phone??
