I bought this set in 2004 and still working excelent with originol battery and ZERO repair. Still have talk time about 4 hours. Also helpfull during power failure timings ;-)

Is still the best for calls and text, will get a signal when other phones can not,
This is Nokia at its best will be sorry when it fails,
I own a Nokia N8, N97, Samsung galaxy wave2 bt i still use Nokia 1100 as a second phone... This phone dam rocks.....

But from the USA you can call ocerseas by diallining Tracfone's International Long Distance (ILD) number, and then the overseas number you wont to reach. Works perfectly, and no extra LD charge, just the normal prepaid per minute charge.

note:- if there is any chance plz re-produce this product again.this piece will beat out all the sales of nokia and competative to others
a)does the Nokia 1100 have the right frequency to be used for international roaming
b)can the Nokia 1100 take an international sim card
I own two 1100 phones dating back to 2005. Both working great with original batteries. Clear voice reception without any interference. Those were the days when Nokia used to make real phones.
