can any one tell me abt its backlight colour ... it has yellow backlight like Nokia 1100 .. or it has backlight like Nokia 2100 have??? plz do tell me

hello, i would like to tell you my opinion although I havent't got one yet but I hope to have one in future.The reason is that we will not be able to get one in Spain until december.
I have read about this cell and and I'm anxious to buy it.I have always wanted a simple and efficient cell but there wasn't.
And it has born a small and simple one, very cheap,reliable, of a excellent brand, light,with a nice shape,at last!...all that I wanted in a nice cell!all in the 1110 of Nokia.
I wanted to pay for a cell just to call and for sending sms and that is exactly what it does...because I do never care about other "commercial characteristics" that put up the price and in the end are so unusefull and nobody uses them...
And about the b&w screen I think is better for the lenght of the battery that the colour ones and besides it's probably a good way to save money in its making so it's possible to offer a better price especially for people with a low budget.
In short I think it's a wonderfull idea this cellular phone.Thank you Nokia.

today, i bought this phone to serve as a backup in case my other phone gets lost or stolen... God forbid... the inverted display is not for everyone though... phone call volume is not that loud... nice keypad feel... 200 contacts only... u can send messages later (yoohoo)... u can screen phone calls and txt msgs... the phone is silent when a screened phone no. calls it... it would be nice if it had an fm radio feature... nevertheless the phone looks good and is easy to use... at least to me...

I must say that the nokia 1110 is the best in town but, too expensive to affortd Sir, pls as a person ai will like to inform u my intrest of buying top phone, but i can afford it? so take time to view this option many people want to buy nokia phone bacause is the best. i reverse my statement of coming to coming to the company myself. I love Nokia phone?

i bought this phone about 15 days back and i have charged only twice. it's a wonderful phone with the highest battery life compared to any phones in the market.(since i change my phone every once in 2-3 months. my colleagues call me a mobile freak) The inverted LCD is very bright and clear in the dark which reminds me of the digital display in the aircraft cockpit. It's very light weight and pocketble. ringing tones should have been a little louder but the viberation alert is quite impressive. 4 way cursor is very thoughtfully provided in such a low budget phone which makes menu navigation and messaging very easy. only draw back is the appearance. Nokia should produce this model with better colour shades which makes the phone look more executive type. the present colour choice is good for teenagers. i have used most of the other brand mobiles but Nokia phones are user friendly and reliable which most of the people in the world know about this already. well....i conclude NOKIA MEANS MOBILE....MOBILE MEANS NOKIA.

great phone at a great price
- 3-4 days of battery life with a good use
- the inverted blace and yellow display makes it look better in the dark.
- the additional features like *built in handsfree* undo clear in SMS* the poly. ringtones* the lots of other options are availiable on this phone which you donn't find in the older models. overall it worth buying it.

If you people read the whole page, you would see that there is a version for the US with 850/1900. So calm down and go get your bare-bones little phone as if there wasnt more to choose from.

Everything sounds great about this phone.
I love older type of Nokia phones without color screen , bluetooth and other useless things.
But what about Triband????
Why the heck 1110 is only for Europeans?
Are we Americans considered to be that bad that not only we have the lowest quality GSM phones comparing to our European friends, but even as simple as Nokia 1110 is not for us?
I DEMAND THE ANSWER FROM NOKIA!:
WHERE THE HELL IS 1900 band on 1110?!
Nokia must immediately remake this unreleased model and make it a tri-band phone!

I always wanted to have a simple and compact fone like 1100 but only for one reason I discarded 1100 that it don't has incall timer like 2300. I hope but not sure that this "1110" has the feature or not. If someone knows about it, please tell me

Ok, hard for a french man to post in english:)...! I'm joking, so far! I will say that this phone seems quite good, but not so much than the 1100, which I have bought two times... Effectively, the last one has got a powerful autonomy, more than a week without switching it off, a clear hearing quality, a useful light, one good game (Snake 2), and that's all, but so enough...
The evolution of the 1110 compared to the 1100: the screen, whose colours are inversed...!

FINALLY!
I'm so glad to see that NOKIA has turned face back to its true clients who appriciate the phone when it is simple, has a long battery time, and without B.S.
1110 WILL be another great phone similar to:
6310i, 1100, 3310 models .
They all have common things:
-amazing sound quality
-beautiful monochrome screen with a green lighting at nigh
-long battery life ( because of no: color screen, no camera, bluetooth or other crap!)
-simple to use
-and they look like phones. Not like toys.
