it's a very good phone with long battery life but y don't really like the mono coulour of the display.

It's good phone for 2nd uses . I'm using it for another number . Although this one is simple phone but ringtone is polyphonic and got loudspeaker only .

The black & white display phones are so damn inexpensive, that even if 1 wants to lose the pohone, he/she will still get the phone back & would never be able to even lose the phone intentionaly or accidently.

I love this phone. I have a nokia 6270 and a 6610. I still use this :) it has everything i need. and i'm not afraid to use this phone as a weapon or to lose it as its inexpensive.

A very simple & good phone.
But speaking about simplicity, if Nokia relaunches Nokia 8310, I am sure they will make their millions once again with Black & White display phones, because even today there are millions of people who like using a very simple phone just for basic communication which includes voice calls & text messaging. Also we must never forget that in a tropical country a black & white display phone is much clearer when people are trying to view the display while they are outside under a very bright sunlight as compared to any coloured display phone that is manufactured till today which would never be clear under the bright sunlight. Yes but on the other hand I also do agree that a coloured display phone has other advantages over black & white display phone, but when someone is looking for a simple to use mobile phone just for basic communication & easy navigation then a Nokia B & W phone is the right choice. Cheers to NOKIA, please continue to keep doing a good work. Let's hope to see more new phones from NOKIA in the future..

Really is a simple and user friendly phone, 1110i/1112 just illustrate what is "mobile phone"! Some people comment it is 80's /backwards design, But don't forget Nokia not jsut only have 1110/1112 for the whole market. If you are more commanding, I think N-series /6xxx series shoule be your choice. 1110/1112 is the suitable and correct phone for the people who just need it for Talking and Message. However,1110/1112 doesn't "classic" enough, no old "ringring" ringtone as in 8210. Yet,the ringing volume only in ascending way, espcially when you set the volume level more than 2, cannot ring consistenly in level 5 if you need....
