What's the difference between this, the 1100 and 1112? Errr.. not a lot. The 1100 has an amber backlight, the 1112 is white and the 1110i is green. The screen is reversible dark-on-light or light-on-dark. It may be only a basic phone, but it certainly seems to cover the basics pretty well.

I was shocked to see that Nokia launched this handset... Just another vain attempt to keep the competition at bay, by trying to sell this to the public. Motorola has far better phones in the same price bracket and not to mention that they have colour screens. Such a waste! YAWN!

Awesome phone, apparently the video call picture quality is second to none, and the MP3 player is better than any of the N series. Can't wait to get it, just look at all those colours on the screen - 2 colours! Wow, I'd pay hundreds.

You people need to grow up a bit and realise that there is a varied market out there and Nokia must be able to offer you a type of phone no matter what your requirements are. Many people only use phones for talking and texting, nothing else. This phone will do the job for them plus it will be reliable and have a long battery life. Nokia are one of the few companies to cater to a wider market so well done Nokia!
