does this nokia have infared or bluetooth because my nokia pampklet even states it has a camera. please let me know coz this is really stupid. the fact that a very well known company like nokia can srew up like this

If you are having those problems go to the store and tell them your problem AGAIN!
the phoine is defective they should take it back and fix it or give you a new one.
dont take the crap they are giving you.... i did with 2 nokia phones...3650...and some other phonr that i dont rebember the model...i didnt care about the problem...and now iam stuck with them...most people i know have problem with nokias...the truth is that nokia just does not have the quality they once have (3310 6510 3330 3210).
take their time and make them admit that your phone has a problem.
get yourself a phone that is not broken or defective.

I bought this phone for my granny yesterday.
It's built-in melodies do really sound like MP3s. And there are even some songs with words. Something like "come to me, speak with me, la-la-la". I can't understand how was this done...
But the keyboard might be better. It's just a piece of rubber. One big piece of rubber... I think in darkness it may be hard to read the inscriptions on the keys.

Simple phone but cheap so can't complain about features...but:
I have been having a problem though right from day one. After i finish a call the "in call" options dont go away. Therefore i do not have the options to lock the phone after. To get the regular options back, i have to turn it off and on again. Major pain the the a**. I brought it back to the shop the day after i bought it. They turned it off and on, then it was ok. I tried making calls to make it do the problem again but it didn't happen of course. After a day of use, it was back to its same problem. I brought it to the Nokia centre. They kept it overnight, then gave it back. I turned it on and it was fine (its always fine after turning it on). After a day of use, it has the same problems.
I don't know what more i can do. The shop is not helpful, Nokia is not helpful. Its an inconsistant problem. Sometimes i can use it 2 or 3 times in a row before having the problem.
Any suggestions???? Please!!!

i am having an error in my new nokia1112..when i messaging to somebody...sms not delivering through inbox ie.to other...its comes like as read message..after reading its automatically erased...can u give solution for this

its a good phone but theres a problem .. it has no option for ringing type i.e. Ascending or Ringing etc.
and option no. 2 is missing in SETTINGS->DISPLAY SETTINGS
and option no. 5 is missing in SETTINGS->CALL SETTINGS

I've been NOKIA user since 1997/1998...to be honest, I find all their units to be USER-FRIENDLY to operate from Low end to High End models! It's nice to see back the monochrome tpye display with simple features. For me, mobile phone is for CALLING and TEXT MESSAGING which is the most important above all! I'm currently using N80 and Nokia 1112. People there, try NOT TO BE high-tech minded! Don't expect mobile phone to be equipped with carpentry tools in the future! Besides, we all have started from early Analog-type phones!(I GUESS!)...The only thing missing from this phone is the CALENDAR which is very essential to me to recall my daily activities!

it is a nice phone. very cheap and a quality product. i m working with tactical and narcotics department of miami usa n i m from india and i use this phone for secret purposes as well. i hv developed a software that helps me in my job with this phone. i have to chang my phone time to time but right now it is helping me for my prsnl and professional life as well. james...
