I think you guys should stop bitching about it, I work in a phoneshop and i see a large group of elder ppl who would like this. and because it has no functions you would actually have some decent battery life!

i wonder why you keep on making monochrome phones, we are now in a third generation and we dont need to use such monochrome phones like this one...so will you pls stop on making useless phones? just make 3G phones in a very low price insteed..

Simran how can be not buying mobile phone is better than buying this. Still the basic feature for a mobile phone is to be able to talk which it serves quite well. Do you know telepathy. Atleast we dont.. so far.Think before you write and make your own fun.

This phone is enough for those people looking for a very low end phone. Understand that people, not everyone have the money to spend in a color phone, even if they are really cheap. And one more thing: there are people with visual disadvantages that need a monochromatic display phone. And if u are saying all those negative things about this phone is because you don`t have themoney to buy another phone. Do something with your life!!
And i`m sure that you are another manufacturer fans (and I don`t need to write the names beacuse all of us know what manufacturers I am talking about)

This is only for those who are stricly hand to mouth but still need phone in order to be reachable for any urgency from the loved ones. Good work nokia to understand need of certain sectors of the poor countries.

lol.... i actually want this phone !
I had a siemens sx1, samsung d600, nokia 6060 and now I'm using a nokia 8310 for half a year now, I like it more than any other colour screen phone cause it's still readable in the sun and for the battery life...
stop dissin this cool mobile you geeks ;D if you're ashamed to show this kind of phone to your friends i really feel sorry for you because probably you're an outkast who gets respect only for childish gadgets and you just want to show off =p

It's an absolute crap.....even for people who are searching just for basic phone, i wud rather suggest them to go for other models of nokia like 1600 instead of goin for this sick phone. Try to pay a bit more and go for slightly better version of nokia rather than this phone, it will atleast save you from the embarrasment of taking out this sick phone from your pocket in front of your frens or else you have to run to the nearest hideout to pick your call...so save yourself an dsave your energy!

This phone costs 30 euros new. What the heck do you expect for that money?
It's meant for countries where people only earn a few euros a day or even less, where they need phones like this.
