I like it as my family, non-business phone.
Pros: light-weight, flashlight (#1), easy to use
Cons: No volume control outside, small screen (#1), small keypad

it's fine, cool look, and simple functionality, i liked it bcz of it's soft keypad buttons.

Can any help me out. I am from the philippines and this phone is keep on restarting when i press "GO TO" and as i check the Firmware is only 3.72. Can any one help out what can i do w/ my problem. Thanks!

i got battery charged when i bought mobile.
now it will empty
itself. how much time recharging of battery lasts?

I loved it! I bought this phone yesterday here in the Philippines.. I'll gonna use it as my spare phone for some important matters.. :) This simple and small phone is having a great features, with the cheap price..Everyone can really affor it...

answering yer questions:

1. you cannot control the volume during the conversation, i've just tried doing this.
2. to delete the words that remain in the screen, simply delete the words, and they won't appear next time

Hi everyone

I've got this phone since 1 month, and i can say that is a good basic set, simple, good signal, durable, cheap, ideal 4 kids, good battery life. The resolution isn't so accurate; if u want games, you'll know what i mean. Ringtone sound isn't so loud, but it's enough for me 'cause at outdoors i use the vibracall (don't worry about how loud is the street noise, vibracall is the solution), and the max. volume is enough for home. Voice sound is perfect, loud and clear. Make sure the firmware phone is 4.00 (10.09.2007), before u buy it. You can see it by pressing *#0000#. If it does, this phone is a good option.

Flashlight is definitively usefull.

I recommend this phone as a basic set. You can't send MMS, only SMS (it's possible sending default images to another NOKIA phones via SMS, i just tested this option, it works to another NOKIAs)

Hi all,
i have this phone and so far, i didn't encounter any problems w/ this phone. I like it, i brought it from an exclusive nokia store. we just have to make that we buy phone from exclusive nokia outlets to avoid certain problems.

Internal microphone low quality (very bad quality of sound).
GSM codec bad , interruption 5% even near cells .
Plus: Battery life .
Plus: construction .
Plus: very low price .
Minus: display contrast
Minus: ringer tones , too low volume .
If transfer card from Nokia3510i can not recognize name on incomings calls .
Many people remark about interruption of speach.
My phone in good condition (no drop at all) .
Not recomand this 1208 / basic functions : sound(sent) not good .

This is a good set.
But can anyone tell me how can I set a good ringtone for this set.
