Hello everybody!
I would appreciate if someone who has this phone could help me with this questions/doubts:
1) In SMSs, does this phone has the status request feature for a sent SMS, to know if the SMS has been delivered?
2) Does it keep the date/time of a sent SMS after 1 day? I know some phones that delete this information after 1 day, since the time the SMS has been sent...
3) Same question for all types of calls... Does it store/keeps the date/time at which a call was made/received/not answered?
4) This phone has 4MB memory. Is this memory used for aditional SMSs and contacts? What is it used for?
Thanks!

Does this phone support external hands free. When i'm inserted the headphones, it's saying "Enhancement not supported".
Or this phone have in-built speaker phones only.
Any1 can help me...

1208 restart ?
simple way ! do not ever change profile name !
once you change a profile name and activated, you will find a restart phone . especially when you entering "go to" right shortcut .
Happy trying !

I bought this phone few weeks ago. I agree with that, this phone is really tough and good. Though it doesn't have alot of function, no matter how many times i dropped the phone, it's stil working. I think Nokia had done a good job.

i agree, this phone is the best simple phone ever, it's very resistant, i've dropped, bounced, and still working. nice battery life, i also have an N95 and i have to confess... that this cheap phone has very much to offer in front of the n95 durability and battery life. i really suggest for the people at nokia: build a phone with the durability and resistance like this one, but also loaded with the high techs of an Nseries. maybe think about carbon carcass and also improve battery life. i've did drop the n95, and had very worst consequences, the mechanism started to make noise when open the slide, also the keyboard lights never again turned on. pretty sad.

Mm, it's rubberised keypad isn't it. So erm, will the wordings on the keypad wear off eventually after long period of time? Anyone got any suggestions?

Updating Firmware means upgrading / updating the software inside your mobile phone to the latest version. Something like "Upgrading from Window XP to Window Vista". You can upgrade your Firmware by bringing your phone to the Nokia care centre.

bought this phone today, coz I needed a cheap phone as back up coz my phone bills are skyrocketing way too high.. so.. i needed to save.
anyway, i cant help noticing how small and light it is. if you've got big hands, this isn't the right one for you. the keypad is great too, soft and nice to press. i also noticed that there aren't any hard to reach parts in it, so you can like clean it coz it won't be so hard.
for calls. i tried calling my husband with it before i paid. he said it's loud and clear.
for text messaging. it holds three lines, and texting is a breeze, even in one hand. i had a hard time coz I got so used with sony ericsson (this is my first nokia in about a year). there are also features like: send to many, send to list, and send later. i believe it also has screened/blocked message option, so.. if someone keeps bugging you you can add them on there. there is no delete-all option though.
games. never tried the games. never really liked games anyway.
flashlight. you can add this on the right key selections so you won't have to go through all the menus.
tones. it has, i believe, a composer. pretty much like the old nokia phones (3310 and 3210). it allows more than 2 composed ringtones (sorry i can't be more detailed, i just browsed it a bit).
overall. a good phone for a cheap price. if all you want is a backup phone for texting and calling (cutting bills?), then you should go get this one. it's lightweight, looks nice, and is cheap. it's really a phone.
