The N1208 is being underrated due to an initial reboot bug.By now if you had read users' comments here it is easily solved by updating your firmware to V4.00 & above.The real flaw left is the poor keypad design - not suited for big fingers or fast texters. Hope this is useful.

I and my 2 friends bought N1208 3days ago. This has programming flaws... big time. You can only choose the right selection key once. If you try to edit it, it reboots automatically. You have to reset it to factory settings to edit the right key selection. My friends' unit was worse, if he selects a feature on the "Go to" selection, it reboots... has anyone reported this to nokia already? Recalls?

I bought my nokia 3530 5 years ago, and it still works far more better than this. I only had to change the battery after 5 years. Now, its reliable again for calls. Hope they make this n1208 at least realiable for call and txt as it should be.. It's a cute fone though.

Thanks for the prompt reply, I think I shall go in for this phone. Only one more question thats worring is people talk of bugs in phone and if there are can this be debugged by Nokia dealer as I plan to but it from a Nokia Priority Dealer in mumbai. Would appreciate a sincere reply.

Yeah. This phone sucks great. The sms software was not properly installed and a month after I bought it, I can nolonger send any sms. I had the phone reprogrammed but a month later the same thing happened. This sucks great. A bad record for nokia. I'm a die hard nokia fan until I bought this phone. I think I'm buying a different brand this time. The Indian calendar pretty useless. Can't use it.

It is one of the best phones I've ever seen for its price.convenient with good dimensions and very resistant.Go for it
Yes it has auto key-guard with possibility of changing time lag to guarding.
Yes it has both digital and analogue screen saver

i think this phone has some bug. it resets sometimes. but it's good. limited SMS about a hundred more or less
